During the first season of Dislyte’s Celestial Anomaly, you can vanquish the Scorch Messenger in turn-based battles, however, you need specific Espers in your team.
Dislyte is an adventurous video game that takes place in a modern, fictional word. Regrettably, the world was invaded by horrific foes, such as the Scorch Messenger.
It is up to you to construct teams consisting of various heroes to defeat these enemies in turn-based battles.
Dislyte: Scorch Messenger
In May 2023, Dislyte released the patch notes for update 3.2.4, which introduced the Celestial Anomaly activity.
In this activity, you have to slay bosses to earn rich rewards. One of the bosses that you have to destroy is the Scorch Messenger.
This boss has 2 powerful passive effects, namely Vaporize and Searing Pain. Vaporize dispels Tide Note and the start of the boss’s turn.
Searing Pain reduces the enemy’s damage taken by a fixed value and counterattacks the attacker whenever it is attacked.
Players should note that without Tide Note, Scorch Messenger deals much more damage.
You should therefore use Espers with access to single-target, single-hit attacks. This can deal significant damage while reducing the chance of being counterattacked.
Furthermore, you should use Tide Caller Espers, as they can inflict Tide Note to the enemy. You can also use Espers that can apply a range of debuffs to the monster to amplify the Tide Note damage.
By following this strategy, you will deal substantial damage to the Scorch Messenger and win the battle.
How to gain access to Celestial Anomaly
In order to unlock Celestial Anomaly, players must complete Story Chapters 12 to 16 on Purgatory mode. The first season of Celestial Anomaly revolves around the Withering Flame theme, and it has 3 phases.
It features Combat, Power Supply, Advanced Strategy, Emergency Request, Strategic Fund and Event Tasks.
If you complete the Celestial Anomaly, you will be rewarded with the limited Esper, Yamato and the non-shipper Legendary Esper, Ripples.
Who are Tide Caller Espers?
It is crucial that you use Tide Caller Espers as they can apply Tide Note to Scorch Messenger. Without Tide Note, the enemy’s damage output will increase.
Thus, you should create a team that consists of Tevor, JYY, Stewart, Sander, Unky Chai and Asenath.
However, you can also use Valeria, Embla, Brewster, Olie and Clara. Gamers should bear in mind that their teams should not only consist of Tide Callers, but they should also include single-attack Espers.
Will the Scorch Messenger be removed from the game?
The Celestial Anomaly activity has various seasons. The bosses in the first season will allegedly be removed from Dislyte once the first season concludes.
However, this means that players can test their combat capabilities by defeating new monsters in the second season.
