Nio is the first mech players will acquire in Artery Gear: Fusion, however, it is not recommended that you use her in an end-game team formation.
Artery Gear: Fusion is a popular mobile game that combines role-playing elements with turn-based battles. The game has several enjoyable gaming modes for players, with simple yet effective mechanics. You can also enjoy beautifully-illustrated content with great storylines.
The game is set in an imaginative persistent world, but it has been invaded by powerful enemies called Puppets. In these dark times, it is your responsibility to collect and train mech characters to fight for the future of mankind.
There are more than 12 kinds of diverse genealogies with hundreds of beautiful mech girls with varying styles that you can procure. There are many different ways to acquire a mech, however, the most common way is through the summoning system.
The summoning system
Since Artery Gear: Fusion is a gacha game, it utilises various probabilities to obtain characters of different rarities in the game. You can summon distinctive summoning banners that are available at the beginning of the game, but you should keep in mind that every mech has a rarity attached to it.
There are 4 banners you can find in the game, including the Normal Summoning Banner, Event Summoning Banner, Elite Recruitment Order Banner, and the Beginner Recruitment Banner.
All the banners, except the Normal Summoning Banner, are only available for a certain period of time. Therefore, you should keep an eye out for these banners, as they usually offer players desirable characters.
Artery Gear Fusion: Nio
One of the mechs you can summon in Artery Gear: Fusion is Nio, a powerful 3-star character that has the Thunder attribute. This means that Nio can restrain units with the Molten attribute, but she has a disadvantage with Crystal characters.
Similarly to other mechs, Nio possesses unique skills and talents that she can use to defeat enemies on the battlefield. The table below highlights all of Nio’s skills and gives a description of each:
Skill | Description |
Active skill: Powerful Stream Striker | Nio uses her Silver Stream to attack a single enemy, which deals damage equal to 95.4 percent attack. This skill also increases her health by 4.2 percent while she gains a defence boost for 1 turn. |
Active skill: Lark Seeker | She deals damage to a single enemy equal to 127.2 percent attack while gaining 6.4 percent health. This skill has a 60 percent chance of inflicting a defence reduction buff on the target for 2 turns. It can also inflict a taunt on the target for 1 turn. |
Nio propels a Stream Cannon to maximum efficiency to attack all enemies, which deals damage equal to 95.4 percent. She gains 4.2 percent health and a Warding Shield worth 25 percent of her maximum health for 2 turns. |

Every mech in the game has the same statistics, but the number of each statistic that every character has differs. Players should note that their character’s statistics increase as they reach higher levels. Subsequently, your character will become stronger and can thus defeat enemies more easily.

How to upgrade Nio
There are numerous methods you can use to empower and enhance Nio, however, some are more time-consuming than others. You can increase Nio’s level, upgrade her rank, start the limit break process, go through tech nodes, enhance her skills, and equip her with stronger gear and weapons.
It is recommended that you first focus on increasing Nio’s level, as it is one of the most important and common ways to enhance her. You should keep in mind that every character has a level limit, which means that they cannot be levelled up beyond that level.
The maximum level Nio can reach is determined by her current star ranking. Once she has reached her level limit, players have to increase her star ranking before they can increase her level further.
Is Nio a decent character?
Nio is the first character players acquire when they initially start playing the game. It is because of this that many believe she is only useful in early-game content, but Nio can be beneficial mid-game once she has been upgraded.
All the characters in the game are divided into distinctive tiers, which are determined by their statistics, skills, rarity, and talents. The S-tier mechs are considered the best in the game, while the D-tier mechs are considered below average characters.
That being said, Nio is part of the D-tier, which implies that she is not useful in endgame content. However, you can use her as part of your team formation.
