Diablo 4: Kehjistan Hidden Side Quests

To reach 100 percent completion in Diablo 4’s Kehjistan region, players have to interact with certain objects to trigger hidden quests.

Diablo IV invites players to explore the ghostly realm of Sanctuary like never before. The plot revolves around the simple folk of the realm instead of on politics, kings and other high-fantasy themes.

As you advance in the game, you can complete a range of quests. However, some quests, such as Kehjistan’s quests, are hidden.

Diablo 4: Kehjistan Hidden Side Quests

Kehjistan is one of the many regions that you can explore in Diablo IV.

In order to achieve 100 percent completion, you have to finish all 44 side quests, some of which can be picked up from non-player-characters (NPC) while others are considered hidden.

The hidden quests can only be triggered by randomly procuring items from chests, corpses, enemies or even by solving a puzzle.

The table below outlines the hidden quests in Kehjistan and how you can start them:

Quest How to start
Ravenous Necrolyte’s Cache Players have to vanquish cultists and demons to obtain the Ravenous Necrolyte’s Cache quest item
Timely Correspondence Players can find the Waterstained Letter quest item by searching the corpses of chests in the Ragged Coastline subregion
Unusual Ore You can find the Unusual Core quest item by searching the Ore Veins and Glittering Ore Veins in the Ragged Coastline subregion
Endless Fortune You have to destroy any Treasure Goblin to obtain the Old Journal quest item
Late Shipment Players must kill Scrappers in the Southern Expanse area to acquire the Battered Shipment item

Additional Hidden Quests

In addition to the quests mentioned in the table, you can complete these hidden quests:

  • Spotted Mushroom: You have to harvest the plants and herbs throughout Kehjistan
  • Sealed Khazra Offering: Players can get the quest item as a random drop when slaying Khazra foes
  • To Serve Again: The Iron Wolf Armor can be found as a random drop when defeating the Knights Penitent in the Caldeum subregion
  • The Weapon of a Wolf: Players must find the Iron Wolf Sword by defeating Cultists
  • Remnants: The Crumpled Note quest item can be procured while interacting with the Tortured Prisoners in the Prison of Caldeum dungeon
  • The Way of the Three: Players have to perform the Cheer Emote in front of 3 Prime Evil statues

Quest objectives

Every hidden quest will have unique objectives to complete. Ravenous Necrolyte’s Cache, for instance, requires that you kill demons and cultists in the marked area within The Outer Gardens to open the cache.

Sealed Khazra Offering, on the other hand, requires that you slay Khazra enemies to harvest death anima until you have filled the quest progress bar. Since the hidden quests are side quests, their objectives should not take too long to complete.

Are the hidden quests mandatory to complete?

The hidden quests are not mandatory to complete, as they do not influence the main arc of Diablo 4. So players can ignore them and only focus on completing the main missions.

However, it is advisable that you complete the side missions as you will receive experience points, which are needed to increase your character’s level.
