Diablo 4’s Urn of Experience, also known as the Urn of Aggression, increases the number of experience points you earn from slaying monsters.
You can participate in the endless battle between the Burning Hells and the High Heavens as it rages on in this exciting video game, Diablo 4.
Season 1 of the game, also referred to as Season of the Malignant, kicked off on 20 July 2023. This season introduced an array of new features to the game, such as the Urn of Experience.
Season of the Malignant
The first official season of Diablo 4 reveals that a new form of Lilith’s corruption has spread throughout Sanctuary, creating Malignant Monsters which roam the land.
Only you can fight back and harness the power of this twisted corruption to uncover the source of the Malignance and put it to an end.
Players can complete a new questline, procure new power and test their characters’ abilities in a new boss battle. As you progress through the season, you can earn new gear pieces as well as a variety of blessings.
Diablo 4: Urn of Experience
Diablo 4’s seasons have several progression systems which are unique to the Seasonal Realm.
One of these systems is Season Blessings, which contains quality-of-life buffs that range from experience point bonuses to seasonal drop buffs.
There are several buffs that you can acquire from the Seasonal Blessing systems.
These buffs focus on quality-of-life improvements, such as extended Elixir uptime, increased drop rates for seasonal rewards and experience point bonuses for performing certain actions.
Keep in mind, though, that only seasonal characters can activate and benefit from these buffs. This essentially means that Eternal Realm characters cannot interact with this system. In order to activate a blessing, you need Smoldering Ashes.
Once you have Smoldering Ashes, you can select and activate a Blessing. One of the Blessings you can activate is the Urn of Aggression, though Diablo 4 players refer to this Blessing as the Urn of Experience.
This is because this Blessing increases the number of experience points you earn from slaying monsters throughout Sanctuary.
Investing your Smoldering Ashes into the Urn of Aggression will unlock it for all your Seasonal Realm characters for the duration of the season.
Although you can activate other Blessings, the Urn of Aggression is regarded as one of the best Blessings.
If you activate this Blessing, you will earn more experience points, which allows you to level up slightly faster. This means that you will progress through Diablo 4 at a quicker rate than players who activated another Blessing.
Where to find the Seasonal Blessings
Players can access the Season Blessings User Interface by opening the “Season” tab of your menu.
Selecting the “Season Blessing” option will display all the blessings available in this season, their buff magnitudes and the cost to upgrade each blessing.
To activate a Blessing, you need Smoldering Ashes, which can be earned from the Battle Pass. Every blessing costs one Smoldering Ash to activate or upgrade.
Players can upgrade a Blessing up to 4 times, with each upgrade experiencing slight diminishing returns.
Unlocking and fully upgrading the Urn of Aggression requires a small quantity of Smoldering Ashes, but if you want to unlock and upgrade every Season Blessing, you need 20 Smoldering Ashes.

As previously explained, players can earn Smoldering Ashes from the Battle Pass. The payouts for Season of the Malignant are as follows:

Season Blessings
In addition to the Urn of Aggression, there are 4 Seasonal Blessings that you can unlock with Smoldering Ashes. The names and descriptions of each Seasonal Blessing are listed below:

As mentioned earlier, the Urn of Aggression is considered one of the best Blessings. However, you can also activate the Urn of Malignance if you are uninterested in increased experience points.
By activating the Urn of Malignance, your chances of obtaining Malignant Hearts are increased. Diablo 4 players can equip these Hearts to their armor to get a variety of buffs and benefits.
