Defeating Diablo 4’s endgame boss, Duriel, gives players a chance at obtaining X’Fal’s Corroded Signet, which has unique effects.
Hordes of vampires have descended upon Sanctuary to send their legions of newly-turned followers across the land to gather the blood of innocents in Diablo 4.
Players must now slay demons, farm gear and equipment, master abilities and complete quests to advance in the game.
X’Fal’s Corroded Signet
Season 2 was recently implemented in Diablo 4 and it introduced various new features to the game.
Players can now fight new bosses, complete new quests and acquire new items. This season revolves around Vampires attempting to take over the vast open world.
One of the items that the new season introduced is X’Fal’s Corroded Signet, which is essentially an Ancestral Unique Ring that you can equip on your character to receive unique buffs.
Keep in mind that only characters who have reached level 85 can wear this ring.
If you equip this Signet, you will experience various statistics, however, it also has a Lucky Hit chance that provides you with extra damage over time.
With this signet equipped, there is a 50 percent chance that your damage over time will erupt and that eruption will provide you with an extra 4125 to 4950 damage.
The damage you deal after the eruption is the same damage type that you had beforehand, and it reaches the nearby enemies as well.
X’Fal’s Corroded Signet bonus
If you equip the Signet, your character will receive various bonuses, though it is worth noting that the bonuses you get are determined by various factors.
This means that you may have to upgrade the ring or slot a certain gem into the ring to get the maximum amount of bonuses.
Feature | Description |
Item Power | 725 |
All statistics | Your statistics will improve by between 20 and 28 points |
Damage over Time | The damage that your character deals over time will increase by 14 percent to 28 percent |
Lucky Hit Chance | There is a 3.2 to 6 percent chance that your character will deal a Lucky Hot |
Cooldown Reduction | Your cooldown reduction is decreased by 4.2 percent to 7 percent. |
How to acquire X’Fal’s Corroded Signet
In order to acquire X’Fal’s Corroded Signet, players must vanquish the Echo of the Duriel Boss. Fortunately, this ring can drop for all classes, which means that players can use any class to defeat the boss and equip the ring on any class.
Keep in mind that you have to collect certain materials to summon the boss. That being said, you need to fight Grigoire and Varshan to obtain the necessary items to summon Duriel.
If you are yet to defeat Grigoire and Varshan, you need to procure their summon items to defeat them.
To summon Varshan, you need a Gurgling Head, a Trembling Hand and a Blackened Femur.
However if you want to defeat him on World Tier 4, you need to collect a Malignant Heart as well. Grigoire, on the other hand, requires Living Steel to summon.
Duriel
Once you have 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs and 2 Shards of Agony, you can go to the Gaping Crevasse dungeon, which is south of Gea Kul in Kehjistan.
Diablo 4 players must place the summoning items in the Altar to summon the boss.
Before summoning Duriel, we recommend that you optimize your build to increase your survivability instead of your damage output.
Furthermore, you need to craft Elixirs of Poison Resistance, as most of Duriel’s attacks inflict poison.
During the fight, the boss will spawn adds and we recommend that you defeat the adds as soon as possible.
You will also notice that there are holes on the ground from which the adds spawn, but we recommend that you always avoid these holes.
