How to acquire Legendary Gems

It is important to note, however, that Legendary Gems are not very important in the early stages of the game, but they become a crucial aspect of your gear once you start approaching endgame content. This is because their effects can deal higher-level damage to help you clear difficult content.

You can obtain Legendary Gems in the following ways:

  • Players can use their Legendary Crests when entering a rift, with the guarantee of one Legendary Gem dropping for every chest used (Keep in mind, though, that they can only be used 3 times)
  • The Battle Pass occasionally offers players Legendary Gems
  • You can buy 1-star and 2-star Legendary Gems from the Apprentice Jeweller in exchange for platinum or runes

How to upgrade Legendary Gems

You need Gem Fragments to upgrade your Legendary Gems, as mentioned previously, however, you also need Gem Power. Players can acquire Gem Power by dismantling spare Legendary Gems at the Apprentice Jeweller. Furthermore, you can use duplicate Legendary Gems of the same type to upgrade another gem.

It is noteworthy that you do not need duplicates for all upgrade levels, but higher levels and higher rarity gems require additional duplicates to be upgraded. This means that improving 5-star gems can be very time-consuming.
