Diablo Immortal: Hilt of Many Realms

Diablo Immortal players can now obtain the Hilt of Many Realms gem, which spawns 5 swords that follows your character.

One of the ways that you can enhance your character’s capabilities in Diablo Immortal is by equipping them with different gems. If you equip a gem to your character’s equipment, you will boost its attributes and unlock strong effects.

The game’s developer, Blizzard, recently announced that players can now obtain the Hilt of Many Realms 5-star gem.

This gem deals damage by summoning 5 flying swords which follow you for 10 seconds and if you use skill during this time, it will consume a sword to create a Sword Rain at a random enemy location.

The Sword Rain feature deals 120 base damage and an additional 506 damage to nearby foes. Keep in mind that you cannot conjure flying swords more than once every 20 seconds.

Furthermore, there is a 40% chance that Sword Rain will drop a massive sword, which deals an additional 50% damage to nearby enemies and knocks them airborne.

From Wednesday, 24 April 2024 until Wednesday, 22 May 2024, players can work on a modified drop table when running Elder Rifts.

With this modification, whenever you earn a 5-star Legendary Gem, there is a 50% chance that you will obtain the Hilt of Many Realms.

Similar to other gems in Diablo Immortal, players can upgrade the Hilt of Many realms to increase its power.

However, to upgrade this gem, you have to procure 5 Resonance Gems, which include Pain Clasp, Cutthroat’s Grin, Bloody Reach, Bottled Hope and Gloom Cask.

Best 5-star gems

There are various 5-star gems in Diablo Immortal,  some of which are more powerful than others. The best gems are:

Name Description
Frozen Heart When you take damage, it activates a Frigid Shield for 6 seconds which Chills enemy attackers and absorbs damage equal to 150% of your base damage.
Howler’s Call There is a 10% chance that your primary attack will conjure a charging spirit wolf which inflicts 150% of base damage.
Phoenix Ashes Prevents fatal damage and then grants a shield for 6 seconds which absorbs damage equal to 450% of your base damage.
Blessing of the Worthy When you take damage, there is a 20% chance that you can unleash retribution on all nearby enemies. This deals damage equal to 12% of your current life.
Blood-Soaked Jade It increases all damage that players deal by up to 8% when their characters are at full life capacity.

Elder Rifts

Diablo Immortal players know that Elder Rifts are the primary source of Legendary Gems.

Keep in mind that every Elder Rift features a single, randomly-generated dungeon, which is full of horrific monsters. Players must defeat enough enemies to summon a Rift Guardian Boss.

Only when you have defeated the Rift Guardian Boss will you complete the Elder Rift. To obtain a Legendary Gem, you have to use a Rare or Legendary Crest.

That being said, Rare Crests cause Rifts to reward Runes, there is a chance that you could obtain a Legendary Gem. Legendary Crests also reward players with Runes, and you are guaranteed to receive a Legendary Gem.

With the new drop table modification, there is  a 50% chance that you could obtain Hilt of Many Realms.

Who should use the Hilts of Many Realms?

Some gems in Diablo Immortal were designed with specific classes in mind and because of this, several players have wondered whether the Hilts of Many Realms was designed for a specific class or not.

At the time of writing, every class in Diablo Immortal can use the Hilts of Many Realms gems. However, we recommend that you experiment with the gem to see how it functions with your specific class.

If it does not function like you want it to, you can always change it with another 5-star gem which will provide you with more benefits and bonuses.

Resonance Gems

As previously mentioned, you need to collect several Resonance Gems to upgrade the Hilts of Many Realms.

It is worth noting that the Resonance score modifies the Base Attribute bonuses that your equipped gear grants you, with a higher Resonance score. This essentially unlocks a higher%age bonus to your Attribute scores.

In simple terms, this means that when you upgrade the Hilts of Many Realms with a Resonance Gem, you will improve your character’s capabilities.

Increasing your character’s capabilities will make you stronger, which allows you to defeat stronger enemies.
