Dislyte players can complete Civilian Tasks during Leora’s event story missions, however, there are several bugs in these tasks.
Dislyte is an adventurous video game that invites players to collect characters, which are known as Espers, based on mythological heroes. In addition to completing story quests, there are several enjoyable in-game events.
One of the events requires you to complete a Civilian Task, which forms part of Leora’s storyline.
Who is Leora?
Leora is a 5-star Fighter Esper who is inspired by the Greek goddess of war, handicraft and practical reason, Athena. Although her abilities are primarily focused on assisting her team members, she is able to deal a lot of damage to her enemies.
She can dispel enemy buffs, apply protection buffs to her allies and debuff enemies to decrease the amount of damage they can deal.
The highlight of her kit is her unique War of Goddess buffs, which trigger from her second ability, Dawn Guardian. This buff grants the Standoff status effect to all her allies.
Daylight Beam, Leora’s third ability, dispels buffs from a target, deals a lot of damage and applies a Critical Rate Down debuff to enemies.
Dislyte: Civilian task
Update 3.2.2 introduced several new Espers, events and features to Dislyte. However, this update also includes some game adjustments and optimizations. One of the new Espers you can enjoy is Leora, who is a powerful Fighter with abilities to assist her allies.
To celebrate her arrival in Dislyte, players can complete event side quests during which you can discover Leora’s history. On the main screen of the game, there is an “Event” option, which contains an event story map.
As you progress in these event stories, you may come across a quest board. If you select the board, you will get the option to acquire a civilization quest.
However, if you are on the event story map, on the right side there is a mission button, and if you click on it you will be able to obtain civilization tasks.
These tasks require you to help a civilian who is part of the event story quest. For example, Kennan, a non-player character (NPC), expresses the following: “The speciality of Tabaton! I want it now! Go and bring me a Crispy Shrimp Cake!”
There are several civilization tasks that you can get, but there is a possibility that you may have to repeat some. Once you have completed a civilian task, you can return to the quest giver to receive your rewards.
Although the civilian tasks and the event story quests are optional, we recommend that you complete them as you will receive numerous rewards for doing so. These rewards are extremely beneficial, as you can use them outside of the event story quests.
Civilian Task Bug
Several players have discovered that when they recover an item for a civilian and they are 0 meters away from the item, there is nothing to be found.
However, when you return to the civilian, he expresses that you found the item, even if you did not. Usually, restarting the game will fix this bug, but this does not resolve the issue.
Another option is to leave the story mode and return to the quest, but unfortunately, numerous players reported that this did not work either.
The only solution is to abandon the quest in the quest board and wait 3 minutes. Once this time has passed, you can begin the quest again and find the item.
Should you insert the key?
While completing Leora’s event story quest, you will reach a point where you can choose whether you want to insert the key or not. If you choose not to, the dialogue will just repeat. Players can therefore not really choose whether they want to insert the key or not.
The dialogue will repeat until you decide to insert the key, so the key is necessary to progress in the event story missions. Keep in mind that the key is not necessary for the civilian tasks, but it is required for Leora’s event story quests.
Is the number of Civilian Tasks you can complete limited?
At the time of writing this, it is undetermined if there is a limit on the number of Civilian tasks you can complete.
However, several Dislyte players have completed numerous Civilian Tasks without running into problems. This means that you may have to repeat some tasks to earn rewards.
It is noteworthy, though, that Civilian Tasks may be removed from the game once Leora’s event story missions conclude.
