Evony: Andre Massena

Evony players can now recruit Andre Massena, who is considered one of the Greatest General in the Napoleonic Wars

As the lord or lady of a keep in Evony: The King’s Return, you have to vanquish monsters from the world map and train different types of troops.

As the lord or lady of an empire, you will complete quests and construct buildings to expand your kingdom.

Andre Massena

To help you with these activities, you can recruit a variety of Generals, one of which is Andre Massena. He is a marshal of the French Empire and is considered one of the greatest Generals in the Napoleonic Wars.

Similarly to the other Generals in Evony, Andre Massena has several abilities that can impact your gameplay. His specialities are:

In addition to these specialities, Andre also has a special ability, Dear Child of Victory, which increases the March Size by 12 percent. It also increases mounted troops’ attack by 45 percent when Andre leads the army.

Andre’s statistics

Every General in Evony has the same statistics, however, their base rates and their growth rates differ. The following table lists Andre’s base statistics and his growth rate:

Every time you increase Andre’s level, his statistics will increase, but the amount by which it increases by is the mentioned growth rate. You can also increase his statistics through the cultivation and enhancement processes.

How to acquire Andre Messena

To add Andre to your General collection, you have to participate in the Imperial Lion event. During the event, you can consume Legion of Honor to win rewards. There is also a chance to get the Glorious General Chest.

If you do not get Glorious General Chest after opening 199 times, it is guaranteed within the next opening. However, this effect resets every time you earn a reward.

Evony players can get Legion of Honour from Monsters, Resource Spots and Event packages, but keep in mind that the Legion of Honour will be removed from the game after the event concludes.

Assistant Generals

If you are planning to use Andre as the main General, we recommend that you assign Napoleon (Prime), Mordred, Zhao Yun or Sun Ce as his assistant General.

Though you can also assign Andre to the Assistant General position for Napoleon or Sun Ce.
