To help you with these objectives, you can recruit Generals, one of which is Poligenus.
Generals
Although Generals may seem inconsequential to some, they are a vital component of the game. This is because you use Generals in everything you do. There is a variety of Generals you can procure, each of which has a unique specialization.
For instance, players should not use a Wall Defense General to lead ranged troops to a battle. Instead, you have to use a ranged General to enhance your troops’ capabilities. As you progress in Evony, you can acquire varying rarities of Generals.
The higher the rarity, the better the General is. You should therefore endeavor to collect the highest rarity of Generals.
Evony: Poligenus
Poligenus is a wise and powerful leader of the Firesworn Clan who brought a spark of hope to the people of the city-state. Although this General’s story is yet to be told, his statistics and abilities have been announced.
His special ability, Foresight, increases ground troops and mounted troops’ attack by 40 percent. It also increases mounted troops’ defense and health points by 25 percent when Poligenus is leading the army to battle.

When you add Poligenus to your arsenal, he will have his base statistics. Every time you increase his level, his statistics will increase. This essentially means that Poligenus will become stronger.
The amount by which his statistics increase is the growth rate:

These statistics determine how good Poligenus is at specific things. For instance, his leadership statistic increases sub-city training speed, troop health points and march speed.
It is therefore essential that you increase his level regularly. However, you can also increase his statistics by cultivating and enhancing him.
How to acquire Poligenus
Players can acquire Poligenus by participating in the Historic General Summoning event. You can use an Epic Historic General (Glory) item to summon a General, which will be directly added to your General collection.
If you do not summon Poligenus after summoning 5 times during the event, you are guaranteed to receive him within the next summoning. Alternatively, you can enjoy the 4th of July Independence Day sale.
During the event time, 5 package tiers will be available for purchase and there is a chance that players could receive the new Epic Historic General, Poligenus. Keep in mind that you can only purchase a package with real money.
How to get Epic Historic General Glory
To summon Poligenus in the Historic General Summoning event, players must collect General Glory. Unfortunately, this item can only be collected by purchasing a tier-5 event package.
It can therefore be said that players must spend real money if they are interested in adding Poligenus to their arsenal. The package costs approximately $5.41 and it consists of numerous items.
Evony players will receive Blood Crystal, Merit Jade, Glory Golden Twigs, Blood of Ares, Speed Ups and Treasure Boxes, among other items, if they purchase the package.
Cultivating and Enhancing Poligenus
Once you have Poligenus, you can commence the cultivation and enhancement process to improve his capabilities. Cultivating is the process of spending gold and gems to increase his statistics.
Every stat can be increased by an additional 500 points through this process. This process requires a lot of Gems to complete and therefore, you should ensure you spend your Gems wisely.
Enhancing, on the other hand, is the process of increasing Poligenus’ star level. This process costs gold and medals to complete.
You can increase Poligenus’s star level up to a maximum of 5 stars, though he must be a certain level before each star level increase can be done.
