What are Boons?

Alternatively, you can purchase it for 150 Obols from Charon’s shop. Please note that Boons only last for the duration or a run. This means that they disappear when the character dies and are sent back to the House of Hades.

Hades: How to get Duo Boons
One of the Boons that you can find in Hades is Duo Boons. They combine the powers of 2 different gods for a unique effect. You should note that Duo Boons can only be obtained when you have the prerequisite Boons. This means that you need to collect certain Boons in order to collect a Duo Boon.
Similar to other Boons, Duo Boons are lost when Zagreus dies and returns to the House of Hades. The game currently features more than 25 different Duo Boons, which are shared between 8 different gods, namely Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Dionysus, Demeter, Poseidon and Zeus.
It is believed that neither Chaos nor Hermes offer Duo Boons. You can increase your chances of obtaining a Duo Boon by using specific gods’ Keepsake, Eurydice’s Refreshing Nectar or the Mirror of Night talents, and God’s Legacy, among others.

What are Keepsakes?
As mentioned above, you can increase your chances for Duo Boons with specific gods’ Keepsakes. They are items that can be equipped to obtain some sort of benefit during an escape attempt. You can obtain them by offering Nectar to various characters for the first time. However, Hades’ keepsake is unique, as you can only obtain it when you offer a second gift.
What happens when you collect all the Duo Boons?
It is alleged that you will receive 15 Ambrosia from the Fates List of Minor Prophecies when you have acquired all the Duo Boons. Ambrosia is one of several Artefact currencies that can be earned within the Underworld.
It is mainly used as a special gift for those who have deepened bonds with Zagreus. However, it can also be used to increase the effectiveness of a companion.
