MCoC: Nightcrawler Buff

MCoC Summoners are now able to participate in the new Saga events to acquire Nightcrawler, who  recently got a rework

On Monday, 26 February 2024 Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) introduced Sagas and a Magical heist.

Sagas are 3 month long seasons which provide a canvas for solo and multiplayer content in addition to the regular monthly content.

For the first Saga, you can collect Runestones, which can be exchanged for the newly buffed Nightcrawler. According to the announcement, Paragon and Valiant Players can even earn a 7-Star Nightcrawler.

Some players are confused as to why they can now obtain Nightcrawler, as he has been part of the game for quite some time.

However, MCoC recently reworked Nightcrawler, which essentially means that they have updated his buffs, abilities and specials.

Do you have to spend real money to obtain Nightcrawler?

On the official MCoC Forum, a player named Eb0ny-O-Maw asked if the 7-star Nightcrawler can be earned by playing the game or if it requires money to get all the pieces.

One of the Moderators of the forum mentioned that NC will be totally earnable.

However, the developers mentioned that he is a chase prize, which essentially means that you will have to put in some time and effort into obtaining him.

The Moderator also mentioned that players will be able to purchase Runestones if they want to, but they are not necessary if they are playing the content and getting them by themselves.

Magic Heist

Before the first Saga commences, players can enjoy an exclusive Arena known as the Magic Heist.

From Wednesday, 28 February 2024, Summoners can use their 6-star and 7-star Champions to complete an Arena that is sporting additional rewards.

If you complete the daily objectives, you will receive raffle tickets for The Serpent. When the Arena completes, the Raffle will give out 100 6-Star versions of a brand new Champion, which is expected to be released in March 2024.

That being said, Paragon or higher Summoners will get a chance to win one of 10 7-star versions of The Serpent.
