The rewards you can earn by opening MCoC’s Raid Chest are randomly selected, and therefore it is impossible to determine what rewards you will receive.
There are numerous activities and limited-time events in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC). One of the activities that Alliance members can enjoy is Raids, which enable you to defeat a series of enemies to earn rewards.
As you progress along the path, you will discover Raid Chests and if you click on it, you will be able to select which reward chest you want to open.
One of the Raid Chests you can open is based on your current rank, while the other chest is Alliance based.
You can open any chest that you want to, however, we recommend that you open the chest which is based on your rank at the time. This is because the chests’ contents correspond to your current position in the game.
The materials and items in the chest may therefore help you upgrade your Champions and progress further in MCoC.
Paragon players, for example, can receive 1 500 7-Star Crystal Shards, 4 250 Tier 6 Tech Catalyst Fragments and Tier 6 Cosmic Catalyst Fragments.
On the official MCoC Forum, several players have shared the rewards that they received by opening a Raid Chest.
These Summoners mentioned that they also received 10 Paragon Crystals, Mutant T6C, 5 000 Titan Shards and 15 000 6-Star Hero Crystal Shards.
Which Raid chest should you choose?
Several players have wondered which Raid Chest they should choose when they reach a chest node.
A player known as Buttehrs mentioned that gamers should always select the Paragon chest as it contains more valuable rewards than the Raid Chest.
That being said, it is entirely up to you to choose the Raid Chest that you want to open, but you cannot change your mind once the chest has been opened.
How are the Raid Chest rewards determined?
The rewards that you can earn by opening a Raid Chest are selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG).
It is believed that the developers created a pool of rewards, each with a specific drop rate and the RNG then chooses the rewards at random.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to know which rewards you will receive by opening a Raid Chest. However, several players have received extremely valuable rewards while others received fairly common rewards.
We recommend that you simply progress through the Raid Map and collect all the rewards as they can have a great influence on your gameplay.
Where are the Raid Chests located?
There are numerous enemies and bosses that you have to destroy on the Raid Map, but you will only be able to open a Raid Chest after defeating a mini-boss.
MCoC players can vanquish all 3 mini-bosses along each lane to access all of these awesome rewards.
It is worth noting that you will only obtain rewards for the Treasure nodes you move to, therefore, the rewards are not shared between everyone.
