As you progress in MCoC’s Alliance Raids, you will have to face Thanos, who will call out specific actions that you have to complete.
In January 2024 Kabam announced that for the first time ever, Marvel Contest of Champions players can now enjoy Alliance Raids. In this Alliance-exclusive activity, players have to enter a unique map that contains various nodes.
You have to defeat different enemies to complete the map and earn rewards. Each boss on the map has a unique mission and if you complete them, you will earn Role Charges.
Your Alliance team members can use the Role Charges to increase their Champions’ damage when they enter a battle. There are approximately 4 bosses that you will have to face, one of which is Thanos.

During the battle, he will call out a random action, after which you have to Intercept the Opponent, Block a Hit or Dodge a hit to complete the mission.
When the called-out action is completed, you will earn Raid Fervor. Once you have earned 50 Raid Fervor, the mission will be considered complete, and your Alliance members will gain a Role Charge.
Summoners should note that there are different icons for every action; the sword icon is intercept, the shield is block while the dex icon is for dodge.
You have to use these icons after Thanos calls out an action to successfully complete the mission.
Which Champions should you use against Thanos?
In Raids, there are various roles that players have to fill, namely, Vanguard, Assault and Tactician. Only Champions tagged with these roles can be used in the Alliance Raid activity.
Alliance leaders will tell their members which roles they have to fulfill in the Raid and based on their decision, you have to decide which Champions to use against Thanos.
Although every role only has specific Champions, several players believe that you can essentially use any Champion of your specific role.
But we recommend that you consider Thanos’ abilities before deciding which Champion you want to use.
Additional bosses
In addition to Thanos, you will have to face Kang, Maestro and Ultron. Each of these bosses have unique missions that you have to complete.
For instance, with Kang, attackers have to alternate their Combo Ender between medium and light attacks.
For Maestro, you have to punish Defenders with Heavy or Special Attacks. Once you have to face Ultron, you must attack the Defender with a different Special Attack than the last attack to gain Role Fervor.
Raid Fervor
Every time you complete the required in-fight objectives, you will gain Raid Fervor, which essentially increases the amount of damage that you deal in other fights.
It can therefore be said that Raid Fervor is your main resource for completing MCoC‘s Missions.
It is crucial that your entire Alliance Raid group collaborates to earn as much Raid Fervor as possible. If you complete all the missions and gain all the Raid Fervor, it will be much easier to defeat the final boss on the map.
