MCoC: Winter of Woe Part 2

The second part of MCoC’s Winter of Woe event invites you to defeat one of Thanos’ adopted daughters, Nebula.

One of the events that you can enjoy in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) is Winter of Woe, which began on Wednesday, 7 February 2024.

This event requires that players defeat an opponent every 2 weeks. The first round of the event concluded on Wednesday, 21 February 2024.

Part 2 of the Winter of Woe event began shortly after round 1 concluded. For this round, players have to conquer Nebula, who is one of Thanos’ adopted daughters.

On the official MCoC Forum, a Summoner named Wicket329 mentioned that she looks to be substantially easier to deal with than Absorbing Man, who was round 1’s opponent.

Although the fight against Nebula is considered easier than Absorbing Man’s fight, she can be difficult to destroy if you do not use the right counter. Luckily there are various Champions that you can use to defeat her.

We recommend that players use Hulkling as he can defeat her within a few minutes. If you have not collected Hulking, you can also use Angela.

Before starting the fight against Nebula, we recommend tht you consider her abilities and the Node effects as they can have a significant effect on your fight.

Node effects

Summoners should note that the Defender is Immune to Ability Accuracy reduction Passives and Debuffs.

Furthermore, the Galvanize effect reveals that every 15 seconds, the Defender alternates between Charge-Up and Overcharge. While in these states, your Champion will get a variety of effects.

Your selected Champion will also benefit from the GimmeShelter – 3 and Outside In effects during the fight against Nebula.

Solo Objectives

In addition to fighting Nebula, there are numerous solo objectives to complete which will earn you additional Winter of Woe points. The objectives that you have to complete are determined by your current rank.

One of these objectives is Metal Heads, which requires that you complete the Winter of Woe – Part 2 Quest with a Champion tagged as God and Metal.

You also have to complete Caring and Challenging, which require Summoners to complete the Winter of Woe Part 2 Quest with a Champion tagged as Carina’s Challengers.

The final objective is Shockingly Simple, for which you have to complete the quest with a size medium Champion, however, he or she must have an Offensive: Burst Combat Style.

Which Champions should you use to complete the solo objectives

Since the solo objectives are very specific, you need to use specific Champions to complete them.

We recommend that you use Angela for the God and Metal objective, as she is also a good counter for Nebula. Alternatively, you can use Odin for the same objective, but he may not be able to vanquish Nebula.

For Shockingly Simple, several MCoC Summoners have revealed that Silver Surfer can complete the objective quite easily, while you can use Sig 200 Ultron for Carina’s Challengers.
