The second part of the MCoC’s WoW event invites Paragon and higher players to defeat Nebula to earn rich rewards
Winter has come in Marvel Contest of Champions, and it introduced a special challenge to Paragon and higher players. While Winter of Woe is active, you have to complete a 1-versus-1 quest which will be released every 2 weeks.
In the second part of the WoW event, players had to defeat Nebula, who was cybernetically enhanced at birth and trained to win at all costs.

On the official MCoC Forum, a player known as Wicket329 mentioned that she looks to be substantially easier to deal with than Absorbing Man, who was the first WoW champion.
Even though she seems easier to defeat than Absorbing Man, you will not be able to defeat her if you do not use the correct Champions.
In order to vanquish Nebula, we recommend that you either use Hillin or Angela, as they are able to conquer her within a few minutes.
Keep in mind that these Champions have to be very powerful if you want to use them to defeat Nebula.

Hence, we advise Summoners to ensure that their Hulkling or Angela has a high level with powerful gear equipped before trying to destroy her.
That being said, Summoners have 2 weeks to defeat Nebula and complete the solo objectives. If you fail to destroy her, you have some time to upgrade your Angela or Hulkling before attempting the fight again.
Although you can use either Hulkling or Angela to vanquish Nebula, we recommend that you consider her abilities, weaknesses and strengths as you can use these aspects to your advantage during the fight.
Players therefore should come up with a strategy with these aspects in mind to defeat Nebula as quickly as possible.
Nebula’s strengths and weaknesses
Before commencing the fight against Nebula, you should consider the following:
Aspect | Description |
Strengths |

Weaknesses |

Nebula bug
On the official MCoC Forum, a Summoner named Matiaswolf mentioned that when Nebula is in her unblockable phase, his Champion gets parried and shocked.
This effect makes sense because Nebula’s shocked when she blocks, however, his Champion does not get fully parried or stunned, and when she does it, she activates her block.
When Matiaswolf’s Champion comes in, Nebula blocks again and parries his character.
Several players believed this to be a bug, but your character does not get stunned, as she does not have a parry. Nebula allegedly just applies shock on well-timed blocks.
We therefore recommend that you come up with a strategy with this feature in mind, as Nebula may be able to conquer your Champion if you do not consider this feature.
Solo Objectives
In addition to conquering Nebula, Summoners have to complete a few solo objectives in the 2 week period.
The Caring and Challenging objective requires that you complete the WoW quest with a champion tagged as Carina’s Challengers and we recommend that you use Sig 200 Ultron.
To complete the Metal Head objective, you have to complete the quest with a character tagged as God and Metal.
Summoners can use Angela to complete this objective and earn rewards. For the Shockingly Simple objective, you can use Silver Surfer, as he has a Burst Combat Style.
WoW Rewards
For every fight and objective that you can complete, you will receive WoW points, which determine the rewards that you will earn.
Keep in mind, however, that your current MCoC rank also affects the rewards that you will receive. Players can expect the following rewards for succeeding in WoW:
- T4A Fragments
- Deathless Piece
- 7-star Sig Stone Crystals
- 7-star Generic Sig Stones
