To progress in MCoC’s Saga event, you have to use X-Magica Tagged Champions, which includes Toad, Dani Moonstar, Sauron and Storm, amongst others.
Since Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) introduced the new Saga activities, several Summoners have wondered what the X-Magic Tagged Champions are.
According to the announcement, the X-Magica Tagged Champions will receive a temporary Attack and Health boost which applies to areas of the game.
You therefore have to use specific Champions in different areas of the game to get the boosts as well as the rewards.
The X-Magica Champions are part of the Attack Tactic, which means that you should primarily use them to attack opponents.

In the announcement that lists the X-Magica Champions, there are a few empty spots which are only labelled, “Coming Soon.”
Summoners therefore suspect that Kabam will release a few additional Champions that will also receive the X-Magica tag. You will also be able to use the additional Champions to earn points and rewards.
Sagas
Sagas are 3-month long seasons that invite players to enjoy solo and multiplayer content to earn rich rewards.
As previously stated, Champions with the X-Magica tag will receive a temporary Health and Attack boost which applies to certain areas of the game.
You can therefore use the above-mentioned Champions in Alliance War Attack, Battlegrounds Attack, Raids Attack, and Alliance quests to get the boost.
However, Summoners will also receive the boost by participating in Event Quests, Side Quests, Incursions and Arenas.
X-Magica Tag
On the official MCoC Discover server, a player named BigDerqqinator mentioned that he is unable to find the X-Magica Tagged Champions, even if he filtered his roster.
Several players believe that the X-Magica Tagged Champions will only become available when the boost is released on Wednesday, 6 March 2024.
The X-Magica Tag and the boost will remain active for the entire Saga period. Once the first 3-month long Saga concludes, a new Saga with a new pool of Champions will be released.
