MCoC players can earn X-Magica Runestones by participating in the Magic Heist and Saga events, both of which have unique objectives
Summoners can now participate in the Magic Heist limited-time event in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC).
This event is essentially a preview for Sagas and is centered around an exclusive Arena known as the Magic Heist. You can only use 6-star and 7-star Champions in this Arena to earn rewards.
In addition to completing the Arena, you can complete a variety of daily objectives to earn X-Magic Runestones, which can be exchanged for the recently updated Nightcrawler.
Once the first Saga event commences, you will be able to earn additional X-Magic Runestones from different game modes.
Although the Runestones can be acquired through 2 different events, they can be used for the same objective: collecting a new Nightcrawler.
The Nightcrawler that you get will be determined by your story progression. It can therefore be said that Paragon and Valiant Summoners will have the opportunity to earn a 7-star Nightcrawler.
During the Saga event, you have to use Champions with the X-Magica Tag in numerous game modes to earn X-Magic Runestones. Once you have enough Runestones, you can exchange them for the new Nightcrawler.
Magic Heist
If you complete the daily Arena objectives, you can earn X-Magic Runestones, which can be used to procure Nightcrawler. You will also earn raffle tickets, which gives you the opportunity to earn The Serpent.
When the Arena concludes, the Raffle will give out 100 x 6-star versions, and Paragon or higher players will have a chance to win one of 10 x 7-star versions of the Champion.
If you do not receive The Serpent through the Raffle Tickets, you can participate in another event and complete objectives to earn him.
Sagas
When the first Saga commences, you can use your X-Magic Champions to advance in Raids, Battlegrounds, Alliance War, Arenas and Incursions to earn Runestones.
MCoC players can also complete event quests and side quests to procure X-Magic Runestones.
Keep in mind that Sagas will remain active for 3 months, which gives you more than enough time to accumulate enough X-Magic Runestones.
When the first Saga concludes, a new Saga will be introduced along with a new Champion pool.
