Monster Never Cry: Shiny

Monster Never Cry players can equip their monsters with Shiny Skins to boost their statistics as well as their aptitude.

In Monster Never Cry, players have to assemble a legion and rebuild the Exiled City from the ruins. You can join other Demon Lords from around the world to uncover the truth behind the evil invasion.

To progress in the game, you have to procure Fel Eggs and hatch them to expand your monster collection.

It is worth remembering that the monsters’ attributes are randomly generated and to be successful, you have to find the mightiest one! That being said, shiny mutated monsters are the rarest.

Shiny monsters are equipped with a unique cosmetic skin which provides them with a small stat bonus and an aptitude bonus. The skin itself is unlocked when you obtain a shiny monster, which can happen at any time, for any rarity.

Shiny skins can be equipped on any monster in your collection, so if you roll a Shiny Zenobia, and you already have a Zenobia in your collection, you can equip the shiny skin to Zenobia to unlock the boosts.

Players can use any duplicate Shiny monsters that they summon to increase the star level of the monster in their collection. The higher your monster’s star level is, the more powerful they will become.

Keep in mind, however, that it is extremely rare to obtain Shiny monsters, which means that obtaining duplicates to star-up your Shiny monsters will take some time.

Skin shop

If you select the Skin menu in a monster profile, you will notice the Skin Shop icon in the upper right corner of the game. Unfortunately, only players who have completed chapter 3, node 11 have access to this shop.

If you have access to this shop, we recommend that you visit the shop on a regular basis as the available Shiny Skins reset after a specific period of time.

On the official Monster Never Cry Discord server, a player named cinnamongutzz mentioned that you need to purchase Skin Tickets with real money to purchase skins from this shop.

Allegedly, there is no way to acquire the Skin Tickets for free, but the game occasionally rewards free-to-play players with Shiny skins if they reach top positions on the leaderboard.

Do you need Shiny monsters to progress in the game?

As previously mentioned, Shiny monsters are extremely rare, which means that your chances of obtaining a Shiny Skin are quite low.

Fortunately, you do not need Shiny monsters to complete the nodes, but they may be able to defeat the enemies quicker, since they have various boosts.

If you are yet to procure Shiny monsters, we recommend that you focus on upgrading the monsters in your collection.

Furthermore, you can equip your monsters with powerful gear to enhance their capabilities. Upgrading them  will increase their statistics, which can have a great effect on the battlefield.

How to apply a Shiny Skin

Once you have acquired a Shiny Skin for a monster in your collection, you have to equip the skin to activate its bonuses.

To do this, Monster Never Cry players have to select the “Monster” icon, which is at the bottom of the screen, and find the monster that you want to equip the skin on.

In the monster profile, you will find different tabs at the bottom of the screen, one of which is “Skin”. If you select this icon, you will be able to equip the monster’s shiny skin by clicking on it.

Keep in mind that you can only equip a shiny skin if you have it in your inventory.
