MSF: Crucible Tournament

MSF’s Envoys can now participate in the first ever Crucible Tournament and players can show their support by watching their favorite Envoy stream their progress.

On Wednesday, 15 May 2024, Scopely announced Marvel Strike Force’s Envoys Cosmic Crucible Tournament. Unlike other events, players cannot participate in this event as it is on an invite-only basis.

Eight MSF Envoys will face each other in the Cosmic Crucible mode to prove themselves in battle on their way to victory.

While the tournament is active, each Envoy will be matched against another Envoy for every Trial. The tournament will follow the season 9 rules in the early-access dedicated server.

This essentially means that gamers will get an exclusive preview of the upcoming Cosmic Crucible season.

Before you watch the Tournament, we recommend that you consider the rules to ensure that the Envoys do not cheat their way to success. The Tournaments contains3 Trials, each of which is active for 1 hour.

To ensure fair gameplay, all Envoys will have an identical level 100 account. This essentially means that all participating players will have access to level 100 characters, Gear Tier 18, 7 Yellow Stars, 7 Red Stars with no Diamonds.

The final rule the Envoys should note is that Mephisto cannot be used in the Crucible Tournament. Since the Tournament commenced on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, MSF players can now show their favorite Envoy their support.

Participants

As previously mentioned, there are 8 Envoys who are participating in the first Crucible Tournament. The following table lists the participants with a description of each:

When to watch the Crucible Tournament streams

As seen in the table, MSF players have to show their support to their favorite Envoys by checking out their Twitch profiles.

Unfortunately, the first Tournament took place on Wednesday, 22 May 2024 and Dulom emerged victorious as the Champion.

At the time of writing, it is unknown when the next round will take place. We therefore recommend that players keep an eye on the official MSF website or their favorite streamer’s Twitch account.

We believe that Scopely will announce the date of the next Tournament in the near future.

Leaderboard event

Although you cannot participate in the Tournament, you can still earn some rewards. MSF players can guess the order of the Leaderboard for a chance to win Mega Gold Orbs.

You simply have to rank 8 Envoys from first to last place and if you guess all of them right, you can win up to 25 Mega Gold Orbs.

If there is only 1 winner, the player will win 25 Mega Gold Orbs, but if there are between 2 and 10 winners, players will earn 8 Mega Gold Orbs each. However, if there are 11 or more winners, you will only earn 4 Mega Gold Orbs.

Keep in mind that you have to register and predict your Leaderboard on the official MSF Discord channel.

Cosmic Crucible

Even though you cannot participate in the Cosmic Crucible Tournament at the moment, you can still enjoy the Cosmic Crucible mode in MSF.

This Swiss-Style Tournament matches players against each other to fight in varying rooms. Every room has different rules and distinct rewards that you can earn if you defeat your opponent.

Unfortunately, only Commanders level 60 and higher will be grouped into 8-person brackets based on their Tribunal Ratings.
