The Onslaught Tattoo in PoE offers you Onslaught for 4 seconds on hit, however, you have to win a tournament to obtain it.
Players can explore the dark, fantasy world of Wraeclast in this exciting action video game, Path of Exile (PoE).
This game is designed around online item economy, deep character customization, competitive PvP and ladder races. The game’s developer, Grinding Gear Games, regularly updates the game to release new information.
A recent update revealed that players can now procure the onslaught tattoo to enjoy benefits.
Trial of the Ancestors
PoE recently revealed the Trial of the Ancestors expansion, which invites players to visit the Karui afterlife and vanquish 10 tribes in a series of tournaments. Players can use tradeable silver coins to gain passage to the Karui Afterlife.
When you compete in tournaments, you will accumulate favor with each of the tribes. This can be spent on recruiting warriors and purchasing field items.
Players will earn rewards for every match they win. In addition to a selection of regular items that may be offered, there are some exclusive new rewards that you can only get from the Trial of the Ancestors.
PoE: Onslaught Tattoo
As previously mentioned, players can earn rich rewards by enjoying content released with update 3.22. However, some rewards, such as the Passive Tree Tattoos, can only be procured by participating in the Trial of the Ancestors.
Passive Tree Tattoos are not applied to your skin, but they are instead engraved on your soul. Applying the tattoo will change what the attribute skills on your passive tree does.
There are approximately 93 tattoos which gamers can acquire by completing a tournament.
One of the tattoos that you can acquire is the Honored Tattoo of the Berserker, better known as the Onslaught Tattoo. Keep in mind that you can only obtain this item from Hinekora when you successfully win a tournament.
If you win a tournament, you will get a choice between 2 chests which contain an honored tattoo and an omen. However, at higher ranks, she may offer you an exclusive item or her signature currency instead.
If you choose the chest that contains an honored tattoo, there is a chance that you could receive the Honored Tattoo of the Berserker.
Players should remember that there are numerous other Honored Tattoos that you may receive when you open the chest. There is therefore no guarantee that you will receive the Honored Tattoo of the Berserker.
This has caused a lot of disappointment among players, as the Honored Tattoo of the Berserker is highly desired.
This is because the Onslaught Tattoo grants Onslaught to your character for 4 seconds on hit. This replaces a +30 Dexterity Notable Passive Skill.
The Tournament
The tournament will remain active until the last team is standing. Players should note that a team is eliminated from the tournament when it loses twice in a single tournament. You can select opponents based on sponsors or rewards.
Sponsors grant favor towards your tribe if you win the round, which can then be used to purchase warriors, field items and equipment. Rewards include but are not limited to currencies, tattoos and an array of items.
You will also reach higher ranks as you participate in the tournament. Your rank determines the trail monster’s level and the amount of rewards you will receive if you win the tournament.
If you win the tournament, Hinekora will offer you a choice between a few exclusive items.
Opponents
Players can select an opponent every round, but each chieftain grants different rewards in every round. Some of the chieftains you can battle are:
