The civilizations are divided into different categories based on their performance levels. The S-tier features the best civilizations in the game, while the C-tier category has the worst civilizations in the game.

What is the best civilization for beginners?

New players can select any civilization, but it is advisable that they select China. It is led by commander Sun Tzu and features improved troops. China’s defence capabilities are very strong and compact when compared to those of the other civilizations.

It will offer you great perks while you are in the starting phase of the game. You can enjoy a 5 percent increase in building speed boosts, an action point recovery, and a 3 percent troop defence when you select China.

When you unlock tier 4 troops in this civilization, you will acquire 2 special units, namely, Chu-Ko-Nu and Elite Chu-Ko-Nu. These units have an excellent balance of attack and defence statistics.

How to change civilizations

If you discover that you chose the wrong civilization, or if you just want a change of scenery, you can change your civilization. To do this, you can either use 10 000 gems, or you can spend 2 000 000 Alliance Currency in the Alliance Shop to purchase a Civilization Swap Token.
