Overview
Stardew Valley is a popular simulation role-playing video game. It is developed by Eric Barone and was released for Microsoft Windows in 2016. It was then later released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, the mac operating system, Linux, Xbox One, Android and PlayStation Vita.
At the start of the game, players can create a character who becomes the recipient of a plot of land and a small house situated in Pelican Town. Players are given the opportunity to select a farm type. It is important to note that each farm has a unique theme, as well as different benefits and drawbacks.
The farm is initially overrun with boulders, weeds, stumps and trees. It is thus up to the players to clean the farm up in order to begin with crops and livestock. As players progress in the game, they are able to generate a revenue and expand their farm’s buildings and facilities.
Players are able to socialize non-playable characters (NPCs) that inhabit the town. Once players have formed a relationship with an NPC, they are able to marry them. This results in the NPC helping the player’s character look after the farm. Additionally, players can go fishing, cook meals, craft good and explore procedurally generated caves. In the caves, players are able to mine ores or defeat creatures.
In the game, players can complete several quests in order to earn money, or to complete specific collections of materials. They can also use these materials, also called bundles, to restore the town’s Community Centre.
Players will be rewarded with various items, including seeds and tools, if they complete a bundle. However, completing multiple bundles grants them access to new game mechanics and new areas, such as a desert.
It is important to note that all of the above-mentioned activities must be metered against the character’s exhaustion level and health, as well as the game’s internal clock. Players are able to consume food, which grants buffs, that is useful in certain activities and situations.
Players should remember that food is a source of replenishing energy and health. It thus enables the player to complete more tasks in a day. Additionally, it is important to note that the game uses a simplified calendar.
Each year has four 28-day months that represent each season. The season determines which crops can be grown, and which activities can be beneficial. However, later in the game, players can restore a greenhouse that can grow any crop, regardless of the season.
Red Snapper
One of the fish that players can obtain in Stardew Valley is the Red Snapper. It can be found in the ocean and on the Beach Farm during fall and summer during rainy weather. Additionally, it can be caught in the ocean during winter if a Rain Totem is used.
It is important to note that the fish can be caught regardless of the time, season or weather if players use the Magic Bait. Players can also collect a Red Snapper in the garbage cans during summer, fall or winter. However, if players do not want to farm the fish, they can purchase it at the Traveling Cart.

The Red Snapper is utilized in the Ocean Fish Bundle, in the Fish Tank.

Fishpond
Players can place their Red Snappers in a Fishpond, where they will reproduce every two days. It is important to note that the initial pond capacity is three fish. However, it can be increased to 10 by completing some quests.
Tailoring
Players are able to use the Red Snapper in the spool of the in-game sewing machine to create the dyable sailor shirt. Additionally, it can be used as a red dye in the sewing machine or in dye pots, which can be found in Emily and Haley’s house.
