STFC players who are willing to spend real money in the game can purchase the Lucky Relic package to earn exciting rewards.
As you progress in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you will encounter a variety of unique items with specific objectives in the game.
Over the last few days, players have mentioned that they have found a new item called Lucky Relic in the game.
On the official STFC Discord server, several Commanders have questioned how they can acquire Lucky Relic and what it is used for.
Unlike other items in the game, you cannot obtain Lucky Relics by defeating hostiles or by completing a mission.
To obtain Lucky Relics, players have to open the in-game store and search for the Lucky Relics package. You will notice that this package can only be purchased with real money.
It can therefore be said that only Commanders who are willing to spend real money in STFC will be able to obtain Lucky Relics.
To purchase the $99.99 pack, you have to click on the tab that displays the price of the package. Players have to follow the given instructions to complete the payment.
You may have to provide your financial details before you can purchase the Lucky Relic package.
Once you have completed the payment, you will instantly receive your Lucky Relics. Players can go to the Event Store to exchange their Lucky Relics for chests. If you open a chest, you could earn valuable rewards.
It is worth noting that 1 chest requires 800 Lucky Relics, 3 chests require 2400 Lucky Relics, and 5 chests require 4000 Lucky Relics.

Commanders have to open the chests to earn rich rewards, but gamers should keep in mind that there is no guarantee that they will receive the rewards you want.

Do you have to purchase the package?
As previously mentioned, only players who are willing to spend real money in STFC can obtain Lucky Relics and reward chests.
It is worth noting that it is not mandatory that you spend real money in the game, which means that if you are a free-to-play player, you can progress normally in the game without purchasing the pack.
Keep in mind that players who decide to purchase the Lucky Relic pack may have a small advantage over those who do not purchase the package.
That being said, you can also farm the items that the chests contain by advancing in the game. However, it may take you much longer to farm the items for free than purchasing the package with money.

On the official STFC Discord server, several Commanders have shared their thoughts and opinions about the packages.
Allegedly, there are numerous in-game events which require that players spend real money to earn valuable rewards.
This means that only players who are willing to spend real money in the game can participate in the events. Free-to-play Commanders are quite upset about this as they feel that the game is becoming a pay-to-win game.
Players feel the same way about the Lucky Relics, as only players who are willing to spend money in the game can obtain the items.
At the time of writing, it is unknown whether or not Scopely will introduce new events and items that free-to-play players can enjoy.
Is the Lucky Relics a permanent addition to STFC?
It is worth noting that the Lucky Relics are only available for a limited time. If you are interested in obtaining the rewards, we recommend that you purchase the Lucky Relic package as soon as possible to ensure that you do not miss the opportunity.
That being said, it is highly likely that Scopely will introduce a similar package and an item that can be used to purchase chests and earn rewards in the future.
