SWGoH: Droideka omicron
The Droideka is an attacker that punishes fast enemies from behind its deflector shield. The droid recently got an omicron update, which can significantly affect your gameplay.
Below we explain the omicron update:
New omicron
– Droideka gains a 10 percent turn meter and 1 stack of charge for 1 turn when an enemy takes a turn. The droid recovers 10 percent protection whenever it damages a target locked enemy.
– Droideka has an additional 50 percent speed and a 25 percent evasion unless it has damage immunity. If the droid has damage immunity, its speed is reduced by 50 percent, but it has a 35 percent chance to assist, which deals 50 percent less damage when another separatist ally uses an ability.
– The charge increases 5 percent offence per stack.
– While in Territory Wars and if all allies are Separatist Droids, the droid gains damage immunity for a turn at the beginning of the encounter. This cannot be copied, dispelled, or prevented.
– Droideka also gains 1 stack of charges for 1 turn when another ally takes a turn. Whenever an ally is marked, Droideka gains 25 percent maximum health until the encounter ends. Moreover, the ally in the leader slot gains a 20 percent turn meter.
– At the beginning of each turn, if Droideka has damage immunity, all allies are immune to daze and stun.
– While Droideka is marked, all other allies receive a 25 percent potency and speed increase.
– The first time Droideka is defeated while marked and an ally is active, it revives all allies at the end of the turn. The allies recover 100 percent health points.
– At the beginning of Droideka’s turn, all allies recover 10 percent health and protection.
Old omicron
– Droideka gains 10 percent turn meter and 1 stack of charge for 1 turn when an enemy takes a turn. The droid recovers 10 percent protection whenever it damages a target locked enemy.
– Droideka has an additional 50 percent speed and a 25 percent evasion unless it has damage immunity. If the droid has damage immunity, its speed is reduced by 50 percent, though it has a 35 percent chance to assist, which deals 50 percent less damage when another separatist ally uses an ability.
– The charge increases 5 percent offence per stack.
Is the new omicron worth it?
Several SWGoH players have expressed their thoughts about the Droideka omicron update.
One player said that the update appears very powerful because once Grievous’ health drops below 100 percent, he marks another droid at the start of every turn, which can be an ally or an enemy. This means that at that point, Droideka’s health could get out of control very quickly.
Players are therefore quite surprised that the developers did not apply a limit on Droideka’s health stacking.
The omicron update seems like a good investment for anyone who is all-in on Trench since he can remove the options of filling that last spot on a GG team with Nute or Wat.
Territory Wars
The Territory War is a guild event in which 2 guilds battle each other. The event usually lasts 4 days and contains 4 phases: Preview, Setup, Attack, and Review. The guild must have a minimum of 25 members to participate in this activity.
However, only units in a player’s roster that have more than 6000 Galactic Power can be used during Territory War. Every member that participated in the event receives the same reward after the event .
Droideka’s abilities
Droideka has several abilities, which are:
Ability name | Description |
Twin Blaster Cannons | Deals physical damage to the target enemy, but if the target has more speed than Droideka, it will deal true damage. |
Destructive Armament | It deals physical damage to the target enemy and true damage one more time for each stack of Charge. |
Reconstructive Revolution | Dispels all debuffs on Droideka and the droid gains Damage Immunity and Tenacity Up for 2 turns. It also recovers 10 percent protection for each tack of charge. |
