WoW’s latest Dragonflight patch introduces a new zone, known as Forbidden Reach, in which you can find Forbidden Hoard chests.
World of Warcraft (WoW) is a well-renowned massively multiplayer online role-playing game that takes place in the fictional world of Azeroth.
The game’s latest expansion, Dragonflight, recently received a patch update. Patch 10.0.7 introduced several new features to WoW, including a new zone – the Forbidden Reach.
Dragonflight patch 10.0.7
Patch 10.0.7 was released on Tuesday, 21 March 2023 and it introduced a range of new features to WoW’s Dragonflight.
The patch revealed that the monk class has expanded to new races, which means that the Lightforged Draenei, Worgen, and Goblin races can now become Monks.
You can also learn to understand and, eventually, to speak the language of the Winterpelft furbolg as you help Sonova Snowden crack their dialect and earn their trust.
Furthermore, you can participate in Baine’s Search and Faction Envoy. The patch also introduced new Orc and Human Heritage Armor for you to acquire.
WoW Dragonflight: Forbidden Reach
The Forbidden Reach was added to WoW with patch 10.0.7 and it invites players to learn more about the story of the dracthyr Evoker awakening now that the defeat of Raszageth has been secured.

The new zone contains new content for max-level players who want to delve into the troubles that were left behind by the meddling of the Primalists.
If your character is maximum level, then you can discover hidden treasure rooms with the Dragonscale Expedition, encounter new terrific bosses, more storms, and new loot that you can add to your collection.
To reach the new zone, you have to own the Dragonflight expansion. Players can simply dragonride to the north of the Walking Shores, though this will show you an isle with very few activities.
If you want to unlock all the features of the Forbidden Reach, you need to complete a series of questlines, starting with the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken.
You also have to complete Hidden Legacies, Return to the Reach, an Eclectic Accord, Stemming the Irontide, and Wings of Mercy.
Once these are completed, you will unlock additional quests in the Forbidden Reach to gain access to different systems in the zone.
Forbidden Reach introduces several new activities, items, and armour. You can explore the Zskera Vaults, which contains several mounts, pets, and quest-starting items. You can also acquire the Onyx Annulet and its Primordial Stones in Forbidden Reach.
Furthermore, players can farm the Primal Infused Armor as they explore the Forbidden Reach.
Forbidden Hoards
The Forbidden Hoard spawns at varying locations around the Forbidden Reach. These chests usually contain a Zskera Vault Key, which you need to open the Zskera Vaults and roughly 500 Elemental Overflow.

You can also acquire a Primalist loot token or an Untapped Forbidden Knowledge item.
There are 18 chests in Forbidden Reach which are scattered around the zone. Players can either come across a Forbidden Hoard chest while freely exploring the zone or actively travel to all of the chest locations to receive their loot.
