WoW: Evoker talents

The talents that you have to use for Evoker in WoW are determined by the specialisation, and by which content you want to complete.

World of Warcraft (WoW) is an extremely popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that takes place in the Warcraft fantasy universe.

The game allows you to control a character in the WoW world to explore different areas, fight monsters, and interact with other players around the globe.

Before you can step into the fictitious world, you have to create and customise a character. There are 2 factions that you can choose from, each of which have unique races. After selecting a race, you can choose your character’s class.

One of the new classes that you can select is the Evoker, which has several talent trees.

WoW: Evoker

The Evoker class is a caster class that has 2 specialisations, namely Preservation and Devastation. It is noteworthy that you will only get access to this class after the Dragonflight expansion has launched on 28 November 2022.

In order to play the Evoker class, you have to select the new Dracthyr race. Other races cannot play the Evoker class, and the Dracthyr race cannot play another class.

The Dracthyr are mail-wearing casters that use their dragon physiology and the combined power of the 5 Dragonflights to launch devastating attacks from a distance. However, they can also use their abilities to heal wounded allies.

WoW: Evoker talents

The Devastation Evoker can shoot enemies from a distance using their long-range spells, and the Preservation Evoker focuses on healing. Since these specialisations have varying roles in battle, they have to use different talents.

Can the builds be imported to the game?

If you are not one to manually select the talents in the specific talent tree, you can import these codes to the game to unlock the builds:

Devastation Raid build:

    • BsbBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIAAAAAAgWKSiIJAJJJtkAItQCikAkkIRIJJ

Devastation Mythic + build:

    • BsbBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIAAAAAAgWIJikQgEJlkkASLgESSAJJSESSC

Preservation Evoker Raid build:

Preservation Evoker Mythic + build:

    • BwbBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABCgICSSOgUolkkkkAAAAAAQAChIBJJJRISSA

Can the Evoker be used for player-versus-player?

Choosing to play Warmode makes you eligible for open world player-versus-player (PvP), and it grants you:

  • 10 percent increased experience points while levelling
  • World quests at maximum level have 10 percent increase rewards
  • It allows you to earn Conquest Points towards weekly gear rewards
  • The use of PvP talents in the open world.

Theoretically speaking, you can use any class and race for PvP in WoW. However, there are no PvP talents for Evokers that increase your total damage output. Therefore, the PvP talents that you choose are determined by your personal preference.

Should you play Devastation of Preservation Evoker?

If you are interested in playing an Evoker, you have to choose a specialisation, but it comes down to your playstyle. If you prefer to deal damage, it is recommended that you play a Devastation Evoker.

However, if you want to keep your allies alive in battle, you should play a Preservation Evoker.
