To get Porygon-Z in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you first need to obtain a Porygon, which can be received from Hyde after completing all the story quests and beating his dad in battle, then evolve it into Porygon2 using the Upgrade item, and finally evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z using the Dubious Disc item, which can be purchased from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village using Merit Points. The Dubious Disc can also be acquired from the Outpost Trader using Merit Points, which are gained by finding NPCs and/or other player’s lost Satchels, defeating wild Pokémon who emerge from broken Ores, or found in Space-time Distortions.
Understanding the Evolution Process
From Porygon to Porygon2
The evolution from Porygon to Porygon2 requires the Upgrade item. This item can be purchased from the Ginko Guild, although the items are randomized, or more reliably from the Trading Post near Jubilife Village’s Galaxy Hall for 1000 Merit Points (MP).
From Porygon2 to Porygon-Z
To evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z, you will need the Dubious Disc item. This item is sold at Jubilife Village’s Trading Post and can be bought using 1400 Merit Points. After obtaining Porygon2, simply select the Dubious Disc item from your menu screen and give it to Porygon2 to initiate the evolution into Porygon-Z.
