The Vessel of Profound Possibilities in World of Warcraft allows you to instantly learn all Conduits for your class and raise them to item level 278. Acquiring it involves meeting several key requirements related to reputation and endgame achievements from the Shadowlands expansion. Let’s dive deep into how to unlock this powerful item.
The Path to Profound Possibilities
To obtain the Vessel of Profound Possibilities, you must fulfill these two primary conditions:
-
Exalted Reputation with the Enlightened Brokers: The Enlightened Brokers are a faction introduced in the Zereth Mortis zone. Achieving Exalted status requires completing quests, world quests, and other activities within Zereth Mortis to earn reputation points. This will involve dedication and a consistent effort over time.
-
Completion of Specific Endgame Achievements: You need one of the following achievements to prove your mastery of Shadowlands content:
- Shadowlands Keystone Hero: Season Three: This achievement demonstrates your skill in Mythic+ dungeons. You must attain a Mythic+ Rating in the top percentages in the specified season.
- Mythic: Sepulcher of the First Ones: This achievement is earned by defeating the final boss on Mythic difficulty in the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid. This requires joining or forming a dedicated raid group capable of tackling high-end raid content.
- Gladiator: Shadowlands Season 3: This achievement is for top-tier PvP players. Achieving Gladiator rank in Arena requires significant skill, teamwork, and dedication to PvP combat.
Once you’ve met both the reputation requirement and unlocked one of the specified achievements, the Vessel of Profound Possibilities becomes available for purchase from the Covenant Quartermasters located in Oribos, in The Enclave.

How do I start gaining reputation with the Enlightened Brokers?
Begin the Zereth Mortis campaign by accepting the initial questline in Oribos. Progress through the story quests to unlock access to daily quests, world quests, and other activities that reward reputation with the Enlightened Brokers. Consistent completion of these tasks is key to reaching Exalted status.
Where can I find the Covenant Quartermasters in Oribos?

Is the Vessel of Profound Possibilities account-wide?
No, the Vessel of Profound Possibilities must be earned on each character individually. The reputation and achievement requirements need to be fulfilled separately for each character you wish to use it on.
What are Conduits, and why are they important?
Conduits are items that enhance your class abilities within the Soulbind system of the Shadowlands. They provide various bonuses and effects, significantly impacting your character’s performance in both PvE and PvP content. Having access to all Conduits at item level 278 gives you a substantial advantage. The Games Learning Society recognizes the strategic depth involved in optimizing character builds.
If I switch Covenants, do I lose access to the Vessel of Profound Possibilities?
No, switching Covenants does not impact your access to the Vessel of Profound Possibilities once you have purchased it. The item permanently unlocks all Conduits at item level 278, regardless of your current Covenant.
Is the Vessel of Profound Possibilities still relevant in Dragonflight?
While Conduits and the Soulbind system are specific to the Shadowlands expansion, the Vessel of Profound Possibilities is a means to wrap up the old content and ensure you aren’t missing any Conduits for your characters if you wish to go back and play any old content. In the new Dragonflight expansion, the main focus is on the Talent Trees.
What are the best ways to increase reputation with the Enlightened Brokers quickly?
Prioritize completing daily quests and world quests in Zereth Mortis. Also, consider using reputation tokens that occasionally drop from rare elites and treasures in the zone. Check the Adventure Guide for any bonus reputation events that may be active for the Enlightened Brokers.
Do I need to complete the entire Zereth Mortis campaign to unlock the Vessel of Profound Possibilities?

How difficult is it to obtain the Mythic: Sepulcher of the First Ones achievement?
The Mythic: Sepulcher of the First Ones achievement is one of the more challenging options, as it requires defeating the final boss of the raid on Mythic difficulty. This typically necessitates joining a coordinated and skilled raid group. As the content has aged, it might now be easier with a coordinated group of higher item level characters.
What are some tips for achieving Gladiator in Shadowlands Season 3?
Achieving Gladiator rank in Arena requires significant skill, teamwork, and a deep understanding of PvP mechanics. However, this method is far more time-consuming and less efficient.
