The Blade Bundle in Fortnite costs 2,300 V-Bucks. This price point was consistent when the bundle was first released during Chapter 2: Season 4 and has remained so for its subsequent appearances in the Item Shop. This bundle includes all the cosmetic items from the Blade Set, offering players a complete collection of items themed around the popular Marvel character.
Delving Deeper into the Blade Bundle
The Blade Bundle isn’t just a single skin; it’s a package of cosmetics, all sharing the same thematic elements. It brings the iconic Blade character from the Marvel universe into the Fortnite world. This bundle is a prime example of the game’s collaborations with other major franchises, enriching the game’s aesthetic and providing fans with exciting cosmetic options. Understanding what’s included in the bundle gives greater context to its 2,300 V-Buck price tag.
What’s Included in the Blade Bundle?
Usually, the Blade Bundle encompasses the following:
- Blade Outfit: The main character skin that allows players to play as Blade. It typically includes his iconic trench coat, sunglasses, and distinctive weaponry.
- Daywalker’s Kata Back Bling: A back bling that complements the Blade skin, often resembling his signature swords or other related accessories.
- Daywalker’s Blade Harvesting Tool: This harvesting tool acts as a pickaxe and is stylized as one of Blade’s many weapons, often incorporating a sword design.
These items work cohesively to provide a complete Blade-themed experience for players, making it a sought-after bundle when it returns to the Item Shop. It’s important to note that sometimes additional items might be included during special promotions, but the core components usually remain the same.
Why the 2,300 V-Bucks Price?
The price of 2,300 V-Bucks for the Blade Bundle aligns with other similar collaboration skin bundles in Fortnite. These bundles are often priced higher than standard skins due to the licensing agreements with intellectual property owners, such as Marvel in this case. The bundle also typically contains multiple items, which adds to the overall value proposition. Compared to the price of purchasing individual items separately, the bundle tends to offer better value if you are interested in acquiring the full set.
Availability of the Blade Bundle
The Blade Bundle is not always available in the Fortnite Item Shop. Epic Games rotates the available cosmetics, meaning that the bundle appears at specific intervals. When it does come back, it’s often part of a promotion, themed event, or an update focusing on Marvel content. Players who are interested in acquiring the Blade Bundle should keep an eye on the Item Shop when it refreshes daily and be aware of any announcements from Epic Games about the bundle’s return.
