Pillagers are hostile Illager variants that are armed with a powerful crossbow, which they use to attack players, Iron Golems, Wandering Traders, and Villagers. They are found patrolling the world in groups, raids, and in Pillager Outposts, and are known to be one of the most dangerous mobs in the game, making them a force to be reckoned with.

2. What do pillagers keep in cages? Players will receive the Bad Omen status effect if they kill a Pillager Captain, and each outpost has a chance of generating a cage structure next to it, which will contain a lone Iron Golem that can be freed.
3. Can pillagers take stuff from your chest? During a raid, pillagers will try to loot chests or any other storage items like barrels and shulker boxes, which would be a feature that would occur on normal difficulty and higher.

4. What do pillagers wear in Minecraft? The only pillagers that could spawn with armor are ones in the 4th wave and up in raids or at an outpost, but in hard mode, pillagers wear armor in the 2nd and 3rd wave.
