What item do you need to summon King Slime?

▶

To summon King Slime, you need a Slime Crown, a boss-summoning item that appears as a small Blue Slime wearing a crown, allowing you to instantaneously summon King Slime in any location. The Slime Crown is a crucial item for players who want to encounter King Slime without relying on random spawns or completing specific events like the Slime Rain.

Understanding King Slime and the Slime Crown

The Slime Crown is used to summon King Slime, a boss with 100 HP, equivalent to 50 hearts, which can also be encountered through a rare random spawn in the outer two-thirds of the map or after defeating enough slimes during the Slime Rain event.

Fighting King Slime

To fight King Slime effectively, Jester’s Arrows are the preferred ammo type due to their high single-target damage, and the Snowball Cannon is another strong ranged weapon, while all guns are very effective against King Slime, although they require breaking a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart.
