There are several Android games you can try if you like Stardew Valley, though most of them lack the depth of Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is a popular farm life simulator video game in which you can grow crops, raise livestock, fish, cook, mine and socialize with the townspeople.
The game was released for personal computers in 2016, and developer, ConcernedApe, released a mobile version in 2019.
Although fans of the game can enjoy it on their Android device, the game has to be purchased for $4.99.
Several gamers are unwilling to spend real money on games and therefore, they have questioned whether there are Android games similar to Stardew Valley.
The most obvious Android game that follows the Stardew Valley theme is Hay Day. Players assume the role of a farmer that grows trees, vegetables and a variety of plants.
Keep in mind though that you are also responsible for animals and for producing goods that will help you develop your farm.
That being said, Hay Day does not allow players to interact with the non-player-characters (NPCs) in the game. It simply focuses on farming and developing your farm.
If you are looking for a game in which you can interact with other characters, we recommend that you play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
It allows users to customize their own campsite and create a solid community of animals. The game does not really focus on farming though. Instead, you have to form close bonds with the animals in your camp.
Additional games
In a way, the above-mentioned games are similar to Stardew Valley, however, they only feature the farming aspect, or allow you to interact with NPCs.

Similar to Stardew Valley, you can farm, mine, fish and interact with the townspeople while advancing in the game.
You simply have to open your Google Play Store and search for Harvest Town in the search bar. Although you can install the game for free, it does have in-app purchases.
The Island Castaway
This Android game does not have the same wholesome and personal feel that Stardew Valley has, but it has the same features. Players have been shipwrecked on an island and have to grow food and build a shelter to survive.
You can also go fishing, interact with the people of your new town and discover the secrets of the island. That being said, the game misses the depth of characters within Stardew Valley.
However, if you are looking for a mechanic-similar game, the Island Castaway is your best bet.
This game can be installed for free from the Google Play Store, and it does have in-app purchases. Players can therefore purchase items to progress in the game.

Should you purchase the mobile version of Stardew Valley?
If one of the above-mentioned games did not pique your interest, you may consider purchasing the mobile version of Stardew Valley.
Since it was released by the same developer that released the PC version, you can expect the same game on your mobile device.
To install the game, you have to open your Google Play Store and search for Stardew Valley in the search bar. Gamers have to click on the “Buy” icon and follow the instructions to purchase the game.
Keep in mind though that you may have to provide your financial details to complete the process.
Once the game is installed, you can play it on your mobile device. If you obtain a new device, do not fret – you can simply download the game on the new device without purchasing it again.
