Evony players can earn Dragon Crystals by participating in the Battle of Gaugamela, which is a weekly Alliance-exclusive activity.

There are numerous items, materials and resources you can procure, one of which is Dragon Crystals. However, several players want to know if they can purchase Dragon Crystals in Evony.
What are Dragon Crystals?
There are more than 5 Dragons that players can procure in Evony. Dragons are special creatures that you can unlock by building the Pasture building.
These creatures are similar in function to Spiritual Beasts and can therefore be equipped to Generals to assist them in battle.
To unlock a Dragon, you have to procure a specific item. For instance, to unlock Jawzahr your Pasture has to be level 26 and you have to acquire the Jawzahr Pattern. In order to procure Fafnir, players must obtain 1400 Dragon Crystals.
Dragon Crystals are therefore a necessary item to unlock a new Dragon, but the Crystals can also be used to unlock Dragon Talents.
Can you buy Dragon Crystals in Evony?
Since Dragon Crystals are an important resource for enhancing your Dragons and for unlocking additional Dragons, several players have wondered if they can purchase Dragon Crystals.
There may be a special event store that allows players to purchase the Dragon Crystals for a limited time, but this is not a general occurrence.
We therefore recommend that you keep an eye on the official in-game store to see if the Dragon Crystals are available for purchase. Fortunately, you can collect the Dragon Crystals, even if they are not available for purchase.
Players can get Dragon Crystals by participating in the Battle of Gaugamela, which is a regular in-game event. The BoG is a player-versus-player event which sees 2 Alliances battle it out for points on a special map.
You can earn points by killing enemy troops, occupying event buildings and killing Boss Monsters. The Alliance with the highest cumulative score at the end of the event is the winner.
Keep in mind, however, that the event is only active for 2 hours, so you can only earn points for a limited time.
If you participate in this event, you will receive a variety of rewards, including Dragon Crystals.
Moreover, since this is a weekly event, you can obtain Dragon Crystals on a regular basis, which means that you can unlock Dragon Crystals and enhance your Dragons often.
Dragon Talents
Every Dragon can learn 3 different talents which are additional buffs that they can provide to your army. Keep in mind that talents are only unlocked when a certain criteria is met.
This means that you may have to upgrade your Pasture building or increase the Dragon’s level to unlock the talent.
Once a talent has been unlocked, you have to use Gems, Dragon Crystals and Dragon Source Fragments to learn it and upgrade its level.
The first and second talent can be upgraded to level 100, while the third can only be upgraded to level 60.
How to register for the BoG
Keep in mind that your Alliance has to register for the BoG, however, there are certain requirements that must be met before the Alliance can register.
The Alliance must be at least 15 days old and must be one of the server’s top 20 ranked Alliances by power.
Furthermore, registered players must be in the Alliance for at least 3 days and their keep must be level 15. Registration opens 1 day before the event officially begins.
If you miss the registration day, your Alliance will not be able to participate in the event, which means that you will not be able to procure Dragon Crystals.
To register, the Alliance R4 or R5 must open the Battlefield building and select players to take part in the battle.
Entering BoG
If you have been selected to take part in the BoG, you can enter the battle once your registered time slot has begun.
You will be informed by mail what time your Alliance is registered for, but you can also check the time in the Battlefield building.
Keep in mind that you cannot have any wounded troops and you cannot have any marches out when you enter the battle.
Evony players are allowed to enter the event even if they missed the start time. However, we recommend that you enter the battle on time to help your Alliance and prevent the enemy from getting an early lead.
