Destiny 2 is a fantasy video game that allows players to assume the role of a Guardian, who has to protect the Earth’s last safe city from foes.
The game’s developer, Bungie, recently released a new season of the game, Season of the Deep, for players to enjoy. During this season, you may encounter Ahsa.
Destiny 2: Ahsa
While completing the introduction quest for Season of the Deep, you will encounter Ahsa, who is an enormous serpentine creature living in the methane ocean of Titan.
Although this creature appears insignificant at first glance, you will find that Ahsa and Sloan have an interesting history.
During the arc, Sloan discovers a tear in reality, which shows a human from the beginning of the great collapse.
This scientist spoke about a creature that warned people to evacuate. Ahsa allegedly measures over 150 meters, which indicates that it was not born on Earth.
Through Sloan’s ghost, players discover that Ahsa swam from the largest concentrations of Hive and Taken to hide away in a cove tucked beneath Golden Age wreckage. The worm-like creature coiled a section of her body around Sloan to trap the heat.
After Sloan woke up, she met Ahsa’s eyes through her visor and then, to her amazement, Ahsa revealed her name.
Gamers soon learn that Ahsa cannot escape her cave without violence, however, she eventually flees. She was hunted as a traitor and was considered lost, similarly to Sloan.
Players later discover that Ahsa saved Sloan’s life as she was trying to escape the forces of Shayura’s Wrath. Since then, the two have shared a sacred bond.
The Golden Age
Records of Ahsa’s existence on Titan date back to the Golden Age. Her presence registered on subsurface scanning equipment, and she became a subject of study for several marine biologists stationed on Titan.
The scientists named the creature TLev-01 in their reports, meaning that she is a Titan Levithan.
According to archival data, Ahsa was found by researchers to be intelligent and capable of telepathy. Allegedly, Ahsa attempted to communicate with several research station personnel, including Gideon Tepin.
What is Ahsa’s influence on the new arc?
At the time of writing this, it is unclear what Ahsa’s influence is on the new season’s arc.

Titan
