Players can procure the powerful rocket launcher, BrayTech Osprey, by participating in the PsiOps Battleground: Moon
Destiny 2 is an exhilarating video game that invites gamers to take on the role of a Guardian who has to protect the planet’s last safe city from foes.
To progress in the game, you have to acquire powerful weapons and indestructible gear. One of these weapons is the BrayTech Osprey.
Rocket Launchers
Rocket launchers continue to be an excellent choice for dealing high amounts of damage.
Not all bosses are ideal for linear fusion damage, which is why every Destiny 2 player-versus-environment player should have a few rocket launchers in their inventory.
However, rocket launchers can also be a solid choice for the player-versus-player mode. Though you should note that these weapons are more effective when you are fighting artificial intelligence (AI) foes.
There are several rocket launchers that players can get in the game, some of which are considered better than others. Thus, you should experiment with different weapons before selecting your favorites.
Destiny 2: BrayTech Osprey
One of the legendary rocket launchers in Destiny 2 is the BrayTech Osprey. The weapon was initially added to the game during the Warmind expansion area, but it has returned for the game’s 21st season, Season of the Deep.
BrayTech Osprey is a high-impact framed weapon which deals incredible damage. Although you can use it to attack multiple targets, it was designed to cause significant damage to individual enemies.
Players should note that BrayTech Osprey is a Nightfall Weapon, and it comes exclusively from completing the Nightfall strike when it is the featured gun in the weekly Nightfall rotation.
You should therefore complete the Nightfall strike while BrayTech Osprey is available for collection.
Although there is a chance that you can earn the weapon, it is not guaranteed that you will, as it all comes down to luck with the drop rates.
The weapon’s drop rates are increased when you successfully complete the Nightfall activity at higher difficulties.
That being said, completing the Grandmaster difficulty can drop an adept version of the weapon which has higher specs and can be fitted with adept mods.
Once you have procured a BrayTech Osprey for the first time, it will be unlocked for Focused Decoding.
You will then be able to transform a Vanguard Engram into a BrayTech Osprey, which gives you more opportunities to get the perks you want.
Keep in mind, however, that this transformation requires Glimmer and Legendary Shards to be completed.
Nightfall
Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu. Every week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall and players can complete this activity in a variety of difficulty levels.
Every level’s enemies increase in difficulty, which makes them more challenging to vanquish.
Your best bet for farming the BrayTech Osprey is to set the strike to the Grandmaster difficulty if you have a fireteam which is up to the task.
From Tuesday, 27 June 2023 to Tuesday, 4 July 2023, players can complete the PsiOps Battleground: Moon for a chance to get the BrayTech Osprey.
Crew members for Grandmaster PsiOps Battleground: Moon
YouTuber, Above, recommends that players use an invis Hunter with Aeon Swifts, a Titan equipped with Heart of Inmost and a Berserker Titan that uses the Abeyant Leap Leg Armor for PsiOps Battleground: Moon.
The Hunter can be used to safely collect and provide offerings in the ritual encounter while the Aeons keep the team topped off on heavy ammo.
According to Above, the Heart of Inmost annihilates this Grandmaster and the Berserker Titan can be used to suspend both Champions and Hive Guardians.
Destiny 2 players who require additional survivability can use the Dawnblade Warlock Subclass with the Phoenix Protocol Chest Armor equipped.
God roll recommendation for BrayTech Osprey
It is noteworthy that the BrayTech Osprey focuses on a single target and not on crowd controlling. The perfect god roll for the weapon is all about doing as much damage as possible:
Perk | Description |
Stunning Recovery | Stunning a Champion will partially refill your magazine, boost recovery and trigger health regeneration. |
Frenzy | Once you have been in combat for 12 seconds, your damage will be buffed, handling will increase and reload speed will be boosted. |
Cluster Bombs | This adds a cluster of bombs after a rocket explodes. The bomb deals additional damage to clear groups of enemies. |
High-Velocity Rounds | This increases your reload speed, which allows you to fire your next rocket quicker for even more damage. |
Quick Launch | This perk increases velocity, which influences your impact damage. |
