Destiny 2: Unsated Hunger

Players can soon benefit from the Unsated Hunger origin trait as Destiny 2’s Season of the Deep is around the corner.

Gamers can enjoy imaginative role-playing elements in this exploratory video game, Destiny 2: New Light. It is set in the vast open world of Sol, in which you have to take on the role of a Guardian.

As you progress in the game, the weapons that you use will have specific traits, one of which is Unsated Hunger.

Traits in Destiny 2

Weapon traits are perks that give a weapon additional power or utility by changing its behavior/function. Unfortunately, this power comes at a cost, usually in the form of an activation trigger condition or a penalty to other statistics or utilities.

The amount of traits that a weapon can have is determined by the weapon’s rarity. Rare weapons generally have 1 trait, while Legendary and Exotic weapons usually have 2 traits. Basic and Uncommon weapons do not have traits.

Players cannot select which traits they want their weapons to have as they are randomly rolled. The random rolls for traits are unbiased and are picked from a set pool of possible traits.

Destiny 2: Unsated Hunger

The Unsated Hunger trait is not part of Weapon Traits, but it is part of Origin Traits. These traits were added to the game in the Season of the Risen.

They make up the 5th perk column and provide bonuses similar to Weapon Traits. The traits are assigned to weapons based on their origin.

The origin can be tied to the activity that the weapon was obtained from, a set that it belongs to or the Foundry that manufactured it. Unfortunately, players cannot acquire the Unsated Hunger trait as it is unavailable in the game.

However, Bungie, Destiny 2’s developer, recently announced the new Season of the Deep. In other words, it is the last week of the Season of Defiance, meaning that players can expect new content to be introduced to the game.

This update introduced several new aspects to the game for players to enjoy, including Economy Updates, Weapon Sandbox Tuning, Crucible Updates and new class aspects.

Furthermore, players will soon be able to enjoy the NPA Repulsor Regulator artifact, which also has several perks.

At the time of writing this, there are 2 perks that feature the Unsated Hunger trait, which are as follows:

Perk Description
Overcharged Armory Weapons with the Unsated Hunger, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Harmonic Resonance and Noble Deeds traits are always overcharged weapons for you when that modifier is active.
Deeper Origins It greatly improves the effects of the Unsated Hunger, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Harmonic Resonance and Noble Deeds origin traits.

Although Unsated Hunger is not available in Destiny 2, it appears that Bungie will add it to the game in the near future.

Unsated Hunger effects

Unfortunately, it is impossible to know what effects the Unsated Hunger origin trait has, as it is yet to be introduced to the game.

That being said, players believe that the trait will be added to the game soon, as the announcement has already been made about the perks.

We recommend that players keep an eye on official announcements to see what effects the Unsated Hunger trait will have.

Artifact refund changes

The new season of Destiny 2 is around the corner, and it introduces a change to artifact mods. Previously, players had to reset all their mods in order to refund a mod for their artifact.

However, you will now be able to refund artifact mods individually, which allows you to be more flexible while you are out on patrol.

Players can therefore refund the mods that influence Unsated Hunger on the go, as it is no longer necessary to reset all their mods to refund a mod from their artifacts.
