Destiny 2: Vault Cleaner

The Vault Cleaner tool allows Destiny 2 players to clean up their personal vault in a few minutes, however it is only available for PC players.

Destiny 2 is an adventurous video game which is set in a mythic science fiction world. As the Guardian, you have to defeat enemies and complete quests to protect Earth’s last safe city.

There are numerous valuable items in the game, but eventually, your Vault will run out of space. Fortunately, players can use the Vault Cleaner to make space for new items.

Destiny 2: Vault Cleaner

Destiny 2’s latest season, namely, Season of the Deep, was recently added to the game. One of the biggest problems players have in the game as new seasons are introduced is managing their vault space.

Since there are only 600 available slots in your vault, you may have to scrap some items to make space for the new season’s gear and weapons.

In 2020, a Destiny 2 player –  Wobow – announced on a Reddit forum that he made a tool called the Vault Cleaner, to help Guardians clean their vault.

By using this tool, you can select your cleaning options and review the sorting process. Players can drag and drop weapons and gear pieces in the trash or remove them from the trash category.

When you have completed this task, the cleaner will automatically lock the items that you should keep and unlock every item that you can delete. Players can then open their vault in the game and delete the unlocked items.

How to acquire the Vault Cleaner

It is noteworthy that the Vault Cleaner tool has nothing to do with Destiny 2, as it is not an official tool, but you can still use it. Players should head to the official Destiny Recipe’s website where they will find the Vault Cleaner tool.

Players can either log into the website with their Destiny 2 credentials or import their vault to the website. The vault will then automatically sort your vault and indicate which items you can scrap.

That being said, the vault does not delete the items in the game, it only indicates which items you can delete.

Who can use the Vault Cleaner?

Unfortunately, the Vault Cleaner is only available to gamers who play Destiny 2 on a personal computer (PC).

This means that players who enjoy the game on a console have to manually select the items in their vault to scrap them as there is no tool that specifies which items you can scrap, and which you should keep.

Should you scrap weapons and gear?

If you have been playing Destiny 2 for a few years, you may have accumulated various weapons with different perks.

It is nearly impossible to play with all the weapons that you have, therefore, you should choose your favorite weapons and scrap the others to make space in your vault.

As for gear, players should scrap any armor piece with a level of 65 or lower. Even if you scrap the gear piece, though, it will still be part of your Collection.
