Diablo Immortal’s season 23 recently commenced and it introduced a new Battle Pass that allows you to earn a wide variety of rewards.
Blizzard announced on Monday, 29 January 2024 that Diablo Immortal players are able to enjoy a new season in the game.
Season 23’s description reveals that you can live your life within that maw that will swallow you whole, but if nothing else, you will maintain perspective.
The new season kicked off on Thursday, 15 February and introduced 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards to Diablo Immortal, including Crests and Hilts.
Similarly to the previous season’s battle passes, players can follow the free route to earn rewards.
However, if you are interested in earning additional rewards, you can purchase one of the premium Battle Passes with real money.
The Empowered Battle pass includes all of the rewards that you will earn with the free pass and additional items.
The Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, on the other hand, features all the rewards from the free and from the Empowered Battle Pass.
However, players who purchase this item will get additional rewards which are not included in the other paths.
If you purchase this path, you will gain access to all Battle Pass rewards and benefits. All your characters on the same server will receive a Portal, Avatar Frame as well as Battle Pass Rewards.
Furthermore, you will receive access to the Battle Archive Shop, which allows you to purchase rotating Cosmetics from previous Seasons.
Players should remember that the Season 23 Battle Pass is only available until Thursday, 14 March 2023, so we recommend that you vanquish as many demons as possible to climb your way through the Battle Pass ranks.
Additional Items
If you purchase one of the premium Battle Pass routes, players will receive additional items. The table below lists some of the additional rewards that you will receive for the Empowered Battle Pass:

| Cheers | This Chat Emoji features a Diablo Immortal character holding a draught of beer. You can use this emoji in the in-game chat. |
| Headache | Players will also receive this Chat Emoji which features a Diablo Immortal character with its hand to its forehead. You can use this emoji in the in-game chat. |
| Gift of Renown | After reaching Battle Pass rank 40, you can open a Gift of Renown for every 180 Battle Points that you earned. |
Battle Shop Archive
As previously explained, rotating Cosmetics can be obtained from the Battle Archive Shop, however, only players who have purchased the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass will have access to this limited-time shop.
You can purchase an array of items from the Battle Shop Archive, some of which are listed below:

| Fervent Fang | If you equip this Legendary Gem to your gear your character will receive various buffs, including increased Resonance and Combat rating, among other things. |
| Ruptured Soul Frame | You can purchase this Avatar Frame to alter the appearance of your profile. |
| Howling Terror Armor | This cosmetic item will change the way your character appears on the map. |
| Aspirant’s Key | Players can use this key to open chests in Iben Fahd’s Sanctum. Keep in mind that you can only purchase 20 keys per month. |
Is it necessary to purchase a premium route?
The Season 23 Battle Pass contains 3 routes, but only 1 route is free and available to all players.
As you slay demons, you will receive Battle Pass points and once you have accumulated enough points, you will be able to claim specific rewards.
It is therefore not necessary to purchase one of the premium routes to earn rewards.
However, players who are interested in getting additional rewards, such as Cosmetics or Chat Emojis, can purchase the premium paths to claim the rewards.
Keep in mind, though, that the Empowered Battle Pass route costs approximately $5.41 while the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass costs roughly $15.65.
How to purchase a premium Battle Pass
Diablo Immortal players who are interested in purchasing 1 of the 2 premium Battle Passes have to open the in-game shop and select the “Services” category, which can be found in the left menu.
You will then be able to select the Battle Pass that you want to purchase by selecting the route’s brown icon which indicates the price.
You then have to follow the given instructions to complete the payment, but keep in mind that you may have to enter your payment details to finalize the process.
Once the payment has been made, you will automatically be upgraded to a premium route.
