Blizzard recently added the Blood Knight class to Diablo Immortal, which features a unique set of skills that uses a polearm.
Diablo Immortal invites fans of the series to discover the untold history of what occurred between Diablo II and Diablo III.
The game’s developer, Blizzard, recently announced that players can now enjoy a new class called the Blood Knight. However, various players are curious to know what the class’s skills are.
Diablo Immortal: Blood Knight Skills
On Thursday, 6 July 2023, Blizzard announced that players can now enjoy a new class: The Blood Knight.
Similarly to other classes in Diablo Immortal, the Blood Knight features unique skills which can be used to defeat enemies:
Skill name | Description |
Ravage | The Blood Knight unleashes a barrage of polearm thrusts and sweeps. This deals damage to an enemy and 25 percent as much to all other enemies. |
Annihilation (Ultimate of Ravage) | Enhance Ravage for 12 seconds. Players will gain an additional polearm in their off hand which increases their range and causes the final attack to knockback enemies. While empowered, this skill deals increased damage. You also gain a shield which absorbs damage equal to 20 percent of your maximum life for 3 seconds. |
Shadow’s Edge | Your character wields a blade of pure shadow energy which can be used to slash at nearby opponents. If there are enemies nearby, the blade will be thrown a short distance. |
Shadow’s Embrace (Ultimate of Shadow’s Edge) | Enhance Shadow’s Edge for 12 seconds, which throws a volley of 5 shadow blades that penetrate enemies. Your character also gains a shield which absorbs damage equal to 20 percent of your maximum life for 3 seconds. |
Additional Skills
In addition to the Blood Knight’s main skills, the class also contains the following additional skills:
Skill | When it unlocks | Description |
Spear Flurry | Level 1 | Channel a flurry of polearm attacks to deal damage to enemies in front of you. |
Wave of Blood | Level 1 | Expel a wave of blood that knocks enemies back to deal damage. |
Tendrils of Blood | Level 3 | Shoot bloody tendrils into nearby enemies to deal damage. |
Siphon of Blood | Level 8 | Continually siphon blood from prey around your character, which deals damage to all nearby foes while also healing your character. |
How to play the Blood Knight
The Blood Knight was officially added to the game on 13 July 2023. To play this class, you can create a new character and select the Blood Knight class. However, gamers can also transfer their character from its existing class to the Blood Knight.
Blizzard removed the class change cooldown for the first 3 weeks after the Blood Knights release. You can therefore revert to your original class if you do not like the Blood Knight.
Crimson Plane
Another way that you can play as the new Blood Knight class in Diablo Immortal is by participating in the limited-time event, Crimson Plane.
The event reveals that a 15-floor gauntlet awaits, and it is inhabited by the fiercest minions that the Hells can throw your way.
You should bear in mind that this event begins without your usual gear, gems and skills, because you will be provided with a set of predetermined skills for the Blood Knight.
