Diablo Immortal: Grace of the Flagellant

Players can equip different gear sets in Diablo Immortal, one of which is the Grace of the Flagellant, although this can only be procured from end-game content.

In Diablo Immortal, gamers can discover the untold history that took place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. Since this game is part of the classic Diablo franchise, you will encounter similar mechanics, gameplay, and content in most of its games.

Unlike its predecessors, Diablo Immortal can be played on mobile devices. You begin your adventure in the town of Wortham which, regrettably, is being jeopardised by cultists and the undead.

In addition to the main campaign, players can participate in a variety of activities and occasional events. As you progress in the storyline, you will discover different types of gear and weapon sets, and one of these is the Grace of the Flagellant.

What is the purpose of weapons and gear?

The game features several gear and weapon sets that gamers can acquire, but it is worth noting that some sets are exclusive to specific classes. Every set has unique abilities, as some can provide your character with a specific buff, and others can increase your character’s statistics.

Some weapons and gear sets are more powerful than others, which depends on their buffs, rarity, and abilities. The main purpose of weapons and gear is to provide your character with strength, protect them from damage, and to deal damage to enemies.

Diablo Immortal: Grace of the Flagellant

One of the sets players can procure in Diablo Immortal is Grace of the Flagellant, which is mainly used in the player-versus-environment gaming mode. It is also well-suited for dungeons and rifts, especially for the Crusader class, as he deals continuous damage.

Similarly to other gear sets, players can get benefits based on how many pieces of the Grace of the Flagellant set they are wearing. The benefits you will receive based on the quantity of the pieces your character is wearing are as follows:

Quantity of pieces equipped Benefit
2 pieces All channelled damage, sustained ground damage, and continuous damage is increased by 15 percent.
4 pieces After dealing damage to a foe 5 times, your character will hit to deal additional damage.
6 pieces Every time your character deals damage, you have a 4 percent chance of summoning a bolt of lightning that deals very high area of effect (AoE) damage. It also incapacitates enemies for 2 seconds, but this only happens every 40 seconds.

There are 6 items you can procure and equip to get the full benefit from this set. The table below lists the pieces and where you can find them:

Item Where to acquire
Shoes Forgotten Tower (Hell 1+)
Belt Tomb of Fahir (Hell 1+)
Gloves Mad King’s Breach (Hell 2+)
Ring 1 Kikuras Rapids (Hell 4+)
Ring 2 Temple of Namari (Hell 4+)
Amulet Destruction’s End (Hell 2+)

Where are the dungeons situated?

The Grace of the Flagellant items can only be acquired from specific dungeons, which are scattered throughout the realm of Sanctuary. Which zone you can find each dungeon in is listed below:

Dungeon Zone
Forgotten Tower Ashwold Cemetery
Tomb of Fahir Shassar Sea
Mad King’s Breach Ashwold Cemetery
Kikuras Rapids Bilefen
Temple of Namari Bilefen
Destruction’s End Library of Zoltun Kulle

Set item mechanics

Since the Grace of the Flagellant is a set item, players should note that they will not be able to farm this set when they start the game. This is because the set is considered an endgame set and can thus only be acquired through endgame bosses and dungeons.

There are different hell difficulties in the game that offer the different set pieces for the buffs. Hell 1 usually offers players hands, waist, and feet pieces, and hell 2 features 2 rings and a neckpiece.

It is worth noting that you may not get all 6 pieces of the Grace of the Flagellant set upon your first run, though, as it is randomly generated.

What classes does Diablo Immortal have?

Similarly to other Diablo titles, the mobile version allows players to choose a class while creating a character. In addition to a Crusader, players can choose one of the following classes:

Class Description
Wizard A Wizard can manipulate arcane forces to deal damage from a distance, which disintegrates enemies to oblivion
Necromancers Necromancers are manipulators of life and death that use their powers to preserve balance in Sanctuary
Monk Monks have extremely fast attacks that pummel enemies with a dizzying array of blows
Demon Hunter Demon Hunters are sneaky, and they attack their enemies from a distance
Barbarian Barbarians are savage wonders that use brutal attacks to crush their enemies
