Blizzard regularly releases improvements for Diablo Immortal to ensure that you have the best gaming experience.
Gamers are invited to explore the ghostly realm of Sanctuary like never before in this mobile game, Diablo Immortal. This game allows players to discover the untold story of what took place between Diablo II and Diablo III.
Although the game is released, Blizzard performs regular improvements to ensure that you have the best gameplay experience.
Recent Diablo Immortal update
On Monday, 8 May 2023, Blizzard released the latest update for Diablo Immortal. Players should note that there will be server maintenance on Tuesday, 9 May 2023 and on Wednesday, 10 May 2023 to activate the update.
This update introduces a new Helliquary Gauntlet mode that unlocks when you have defeated Catarag the Strangling Sun on Hell Difficulty VIII.
Furthermore, the update includes class balance and legendary item adjustments. Nearly all classes in the game have been adjusted, so players should ensure that they are aware of the changes.
Additionally, the Accursed Towers have been adjusted and improved so that the activity appears more balanced.
Diablo Immortal: Improvements
With nearly every Diablo Immortal update, Blizzard reveals which improvements they have made to the game.
Whether it is a simple bug fix, or a gaming mode that requires improvement, Blizzard endeavors to provide players with the best gaming experience.
As previously explained, the latest update introduces class balance and legendary item adjustments, or rather, improvements. Demon Hunter, Wizard and Necromancer classes will now have an innate 15 percent reduction of incoming damage.
Barbarian, Monk and Crusaders will continue to have an innate 30 percent reduction of incoming damage. The table below describes class-specific improvements:
Class | Improvements |
Barbarian |
|
Crusader |
|
Demon Hunter |
|
Necromancer |

The Wizard and Monk classes did not receive skill improvements, but their legendary items were adjusted.
Battle Pass improvements
According to Blizzard, the latest update introduces adjustments to the game’s Empowered and Collectors battle pass rewards, along with a new battle pass and improvements to battleground matchmaking.
If you purchase one of the premium battle passes, you will receive 3 normal gems at rank 5 and 35.
Moreover, you will receive the powerful 2-star Legendary Gem, Fervent Fang, at rank 20. If you purchase the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, you will get even more rewards, including a new currency, Battle Archive Coins.
You can use this currency to acquire additional gems, cosmetics and other items which are featured in previous seasonal battle passes.
Battleground improvements
Blizzard aims to improve the player-versus-player battleground experience by optimizing matchmaking. However, the game’s developer introduced a new feature to punish those players who queue-dodge.
Diablo Immortal players who repeatedly cancel matchmade games will be unable to join a battleground for approximately 5 minutes. Furthermore, players who cancel matchmade games will now receive an in-game warning message.
This is a huge improvement for those who regularly participate in PvP, as it can be frustrating when other players queue-dodge and cancel matchmade games. This feature will only be active when the server maintenance is complete.

Although bugs are out of the developer’s control, Blizzard tends to resolve the bugs to improve the gaming experience. Some of the resolved bugs are outlined below:
