Blizzard recently announced season 17 of Diablo Immortal and it will be implemented in the game on Thursday, 31 August 2023.
Players can uncover what took place between Diablo II and Diablo III in this adventurous video game, Diablo Immortal.
The game has several seasons, each of which introduces new features. Blizzard, Diablo Immortal’s developer, recently announced season 17 of Diablo Immortal.
Seasons in Diablo Immortal
Since the game launched officially, players have been able to enjoy 16 unique seasons, each of which introduced features to the game:

Diablo Immortal: Season 17
On Monday, 21 August 2023, Blizzard announced that players can harness their inner darkness with the season 17 Battle Pass. Along with the new season, Blizzard released a huge update to enhance players’ gaming experiences.
This content update introduces 42 new Legendary items, the season 17 Ruptured Soul Battle Pass and an array of updates to existing features.
Season 17’s official description reads, “Every soul enters Sanctuary with at least a modicum of darkness. Whether through their own transgressions or those of another, allowing the malice to bubble up will give birth to a Ruptured Soul.”
Although the content update was already implemented in Diablo Immortal, Season 17 will only burst into Sanctuary on Thursday, 31 August 2023. The season introduces a new Battle Pass, which hosts 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards.
It is worth noting, though, that new Rank rewards are available in the Empowered Battle Pass. Moreover, rotating Cosmetics can be procured from the Battle Archive Shop for owners of the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.
Players can either follow the free route of the new Battle Pass, or purchase one of the 2 premium routes to get additional items.
The Empowered Battle Pass includes all rank rewards from the free route, but it also unlocks an Empowered track which provides additional rewards at every rank.
You will also obtain the seasonal cosmetics, which unlock at rank 1 and at rank 40.
Additionally, you can purchase the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, which gives you access to all rank rewards from the Empowered Battle Pass as well as seasonal cosmetics and a ten-rank boost.
Walking Nightmare Cosmetic Set
Season 17 introduced a new cosmetic set called Walking Nightmare. The description reveals that our darkest dreams are private fountains of creativity and motivation.
Their cost pales in comparison to their power. Strike uneasiness in the heart of your foes with the Walking Nightmare cosmetic set.
It is unknown whether or not this cosmetic set will be available through the Empowered Battle Pass or Collector’s Empowered Pass. This is because players can purchase this cosmetic set for 1000 Eternal Orbs from the in-game shop
Keep in mind, however, that Eternal Orbs are a premium currency, which means that they can only be procured by purchasing them with real money.
Events
Along with season 17, Blizzard announced several events that players can enjoy. You can participate in the Conqueror Limited Time PvP event, which began on Wednesday, 23 August 2023.
This event will remain active until Wednesday, 6 September 2023.
During this time, you can enter a Conqueror PvP match using your own build or select a preconstructed character build for your class.
Every match contains multiple strongholds which must be captured by your team. The first team to earn 1500 points by holding strongholds will win the battle.
By participating in this event, you can complete weekly and challenge tasks to earn a random reward. In addition to this PvP event, you can enjoy returning events, including Hungering Moon and Shady Shock.
Training Grounds
The update revealed that there is construction in Westmarch and Diablo Immortal players can now enjoy the Training Grounds.
In this area, you can see how much damage each of your individual skills and primary attacks deal, how much your Legendary Gems factor into that and how other sources of damage come into play.
Players can find the Training Grounds Southwest of the Elder Rift and Bounty Board. Keep in mind that you have to talk to Nadia, the Training Aide to begin training. She can also provide you with various services so that you can test out builds.
