Yu Ran is a 5-star Flow Esper that you can acquire in Dislyte, however, several players believe that he is not worth summoning.
Farlight Games regularly introduces new Espers to Dislyte to ensure that gamers have the best gaming experience. Patch 3.4.2 was released on Saturday, 2 March 2024 and it released 2 new Espers, one of which is Yu Ran.
Yu Ran is a 5-star Flow Esper who can inflict Sleep on foes and make his allies deal additional damage with the Sleep debuff.
Similarly to other Espers, Yu Ran has several abilities, which are as follows:

| Exorcism | Attacks an enemy twice to deal 55 percent attack. Each hit inflicts Sleep for 1 turn. Then calls in 1 random teammate to perform an Assistant Attack. |
| Boundless Grace | Yu Ran attacks 1 enemy twice to deal 80 percent damage. He then inflicts sleep for 2 turns and grants all allies Attack Up and Apotropaic for 2 turns. |
| Anathema | He attacks all enemies 3 times, and every attack deals 30 percent damage. This ability also inflicts Sleep for 2 turns and grants all allies C. DMG Up for 2 turns. |
When Yu Ran is assigned as the captain of the team, he increases ally Speed in Ritual Miracle, Sonic Miracle, Desolate Lands, Sentinel Hunt, Falsetto Fantasy and Traces & Cubes by 35 percent.
Yu Ran’s Resonance
For every Resonance level that you unlock, Yu Ran will receive a permanent upgrade. The table below lists his Resonance effects:

| 5 | Base DEF, HP and ATK are increased by 20 percent |
| 6 | Anathema: After casting Anathema, Yu Ran gains a bonus turn |
How to procure Yu Ran
To celebrate Yu Ran’s arrival, Dislyte is hosting a limited-time Gacha Event for him. This gacha event began shortly after the update was implemented and will remain active for 31 days.
You have to spend 100 Wish Stones in the Event pool to guarantee the acquisition of the current event’s featured Esper.
You can acquire Wish Stones by summoning Epic or Legendary Espers from the Gold Record Player. For every Legendary Esper that you summon, you will get 20 Wish Stones, and summoning an Epic Esper will give you 1 Wish Stone.
Is Yu Ran worth it?
On the official Dislyte Discord Server, several players have shared their thoughts on Yu Ran. One player mentioned that he adds little value to a team as his Sleep debuff is regarded as extremely weak.
Another Dislyte player said that he does not think that Yu Ran is a weak Esper, but he is underwhelming compared to other recent releases.
Several players mentioned that he is not worth summoning with Wish Stones, instead you should wait until he is available for summoning through the normal gacha summoning event.
