To ensure that players have the best gaming experience, the game’s developer regularly updates the game, which introduces new items for players to procure. A recent update introduced the Forge Master Certificates to the game.
Evony: Forge Master Certificate
On Thursday, 20 July 2023, Evony made an in-game announcement that revealed that players can now procure Forge Master Certificates.
If you consume these certificates, you can upgrade the Ares Set to the Imperial Set and the Achaemenidae set to the Parthian Set.
The Imperial Set has the following benefits:

The Parthian Set has the following effects:

| Ground and Mounted Troop Attack and Defense on Monsters | Increased by 30 percent |
| Enemy Troop Attack | Decreased by 18 percent |
In order to get the Forge Master Certificates, players must participate in the Gather Troops event and the Viking Challenge event.
Fortunately, both of the events occur on a regular basis in Evony, which makes it easier for players to acquire Forge Master Certificates.
Gather Troops event
When the Gather Troops event is active, you have to complete event quests to earn rewards.
Every quest that you complete will reward you with points, which progresses a reward bar. There are 5 reward chests that you can claim by accumulating points.
If you open the first 4 chests, you will receive 10 Forge Master Certificates respectfully. This means that you will receive 40 certificates in total.
It is essential that you complete the event quests, as they are the only way you can earn points.
The event quest requires that you increase your power by a certain quantity, however, you can also cultivate your Generals to earn points.
Viking Challenge event
Before the event begins, you can select your difficulty level. The higher the level is, the better the rewards that you will earn.
When the event commences, you can either vanquish the Viking as a solo player or ask for help from your Alliance.
However, if you request help, you need to procure a Viking Poleaxe. Players will receive 5 Viking Poleaxes once they have selected their difficulty level.
Which armor should you upgrade?
As previously explained, you can use the Forge Master Certificates to upgrade the Ares Set to the Imperial Set and the Achaemenidae set to the Parthian Set.
Some Evony players are struggling to decide which set to upgrade. If you only have 1 of the sets, you should upgrade it instead of farming for the other set.
However, if you have both sets, it is advisable that you upgrade the set from which you benefit the most first. You can always upgrade both sets by obtaining additional certificates.
