Evony players can now level up the Cake in the King’s Party event to acquire the new Epic Historic General, Guinevere
On Thursday, 8 February 2024, Evony made an in-game announcement which revealed that players can acquire the new Epic Historic General, Guinevere.
In the legends of King Arthur, Guinevere was a princess of unparalleled beauty, which essentially earned her the position of Queen to King Arthur.
Together they had a life filled with the tumults of love and the destiny of a kingdom. There are various methods that you can use to expand your General collection for free, however, Monarchs cannot procure Guinevere for free.
In order to add Guinevere to your collection, you have to participate in the King’s Party event. You can increase the Cake’s level by purchasing basic Gems with real money. For every level that the cake reaches, you will receive an abundance of rewards.
Monarchs have to increase the cake’s level to 10 if they want to obtain Guinevere. Unfortunately, this means that you may have to purchase many Gems to add her to your collection.
However, rumor has it that purchasing 2000 000 basic Gems will promote you to a special guest at the Royal Party.
Once you have Guinevere, you can increase her level and statistics to enhance her capabilities. We recommend that you also complete the enhancement and cultivation processes to increase her statistics.
The amount by which her statistics increase is equal to the growth rate. The following table lists Guinevere’s base statistics and her growth rate:

Guinevere’s abilities
Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Guinevere has several abilities that can help you progress in the game. The table below lists her abilities and describes each one:

Speciality
In addition to the abilities mentioned above, Guinevere has a speciality skill which is unlike any other General’s special skill. Queen of Camelot increases in-city ranged troops’ attack and defense by 35%.
It also reduces enemy ranged troops and siege machines’ defense and HP by 15% when she is the Warehouse Officer.
This speciality indicates that you should assign Guinevere to your Warehouse as she will provide your troops with numerous buffs.
Every time you increase Guinevere’s star-level, you will unlock an additional effect for her speciality:

How to assign her to your Warehouse
Your warehouse protects a certain amount of your resources from being plundered or consumed.
Evony players can upgrade their Warehouses to protect additional resources, but if you assign Guinevere to the building, she will provide you with various buffs.
To assign Guinevere to the building, click on the Warehouse to open its pop-up menu. In this menu, you will find the “Duty” category and if you click it, you can assign Guinevere to the Warehouse.
Though you can only assign Guinevere to the Warehouse when the building reaches level 23.
King’s Party
As previously mentioned, you have to increase the Cake’s level to procure Guinevere, but for every level that the cake reaches, you will receive rich rewards:
