Evony: Gunther

Evony recently released Gunther, an Epic Historic General that specializes in Siege Machine and Ranged Troop battles.

As you progress in Evony: The King’s Return, you will expand your General collection. On Friday, 19 April 2024, Evony released Gunther, a new Historic General.

He is the king of the Atlis and he has unwavering conviction and the strength to contend with deities.

To add Gunther to your General Collection, you have to participate in the Historic General Summoning event, which will conclude on Tuesday, 30 April 2024.

This event requires that players use Epic Historic General (Glory) to summon an Epic Historic General.

During the event time, if you do not get the most-recently  released General, which is Gunther, after summoning 5 times, you are guaranteed to get him within the next summon.

That being said, the chances that you will get Gunther are increased by 600% during the event.

To obtain Epic Historic General (Glory), you have to purchase the Triumphal Celebration Package. Keep in mind, however, that this package has several tiers and the higher the tiers are, the more expensive the packages are.

For instance, the first tier of the package is approximately ＄5.49. If you purchase the 5th tier package, you could receive Gunther, though this route is quite expensive as the price of the packages increases with every tier.

Gunther’s statistics

Once you have added Gunther to your collection, you can increase his level and complete the enhancement and cultivation processes to increase his statistics.

The amount by which the statistics increase is equal to the mentioned growth rate:

Gunther’s abilities

Gunther has a variety of abilities that you can use to conquer your enemies. The following table lists his abilities:

Gunther’s speciality

Gunther’s speciality, The King of Atlis, increases siege machines’ attack and defense by 45% when he is leading the army to an attack.

However, if you assign a Spiritual Beast or a Dragon to Gunther, this ability will increase ranged troops and siege machines’ health points by 30%.

When you consider Gunther’s speciality and his abilities, it is clear that you should use him as your siege machine and ranged troops General.
