To participate in the Hell Difficulty of Evony’s Viking Challenge, you need a minimum troop power of 350 million, as the enemies are incredibly powerful.
Gamers can assume the role of a lady or lord in this exhilarating mobile game, Evony: The King’s Return. You have to expand your kingdom by completing activities and quests in the game.
Additionally, you can enjoy in-game events, such as the Viking Challenge, which features Hell Mode.
In-game events
Evony hosts a number of in-game events simultaneously, but each event requires that players complete unique tasks to earn rewards. The following table lists some of the current active events:

Evony: Hell Vikings
Viking Challenge is one of the most exciting events in Evony, as players have to defeat Vikings to earn rich rewards. Before the event commences, you have to select a difficulty level. The higher the level is, the better the rewards.
Keep in mind that once you have selected a difficulty level, it cannot be changed for the current event. Gamers can choose between Easy, Normal, Hard and Hell mode before the Viking Challenge begins on Thursday, 29 June 2023.
Every difficulty mode has a recommended troop power, and it is imperative that you choose the difficulty level that corresponds to your troop power.
Players who are interested in choosing the Hell Difficulty should have a minimum troop power of 350 million.
If you select the Hell Difficulty, you can expect the following rewards:

Viking Challenge Details
The event comprises a trial phase and a reward phase. You can challenge the Vikings to raise the reward level in the trial phase and claim rewards per reward level in the reward phase.
Players can either attempt to slay the Viking solo or request help from Alliance members by using a Viking Poleaxe.
Before the event commences, every player will receive 5 Viking Poleaxes. There is also a chance that you can earn Viking Poleaxes when you help Alliance members vanquish Vikings. After the event, the unused Viking Poleaxes will disappear from the game.
Your reward level is determined by your trial progress, which is the highest level of Viking that you successfully defeated.
Other difficulty Levels
In addition to the Hell Difficulty, you can select one of the following difficulty levels:

Players must consider their own troop power before choosing a difficulty level. If you choose the normal level, but you are yet to reach 50 million troop power, you will not be able to slay the Viking and therefore, you will not earn rewards.
How to increase troop power
In order to increase your troop power, you have to train high-tier troops in their corresponding buildings.
Ground troops can be trained in the barracks while ranged troops can be trained in archer camps. Furthermore, you can train mounted troops in your stable.
To get access to high-tier troops, you have to meet specific requirements. For instance, to train Zweihanders, which are a type of ground troops, you have to upgrade the building to level 14.
Players should therefore note that unlocking high-tier troops may take some time. If you are yet to unlock high-tier troops, we advise you select the easy difficulty.
The Viking Challenge is a regular event in Evony, which means that you will be able to focus on increasing your troop power to participate in higher difficulty levels when the event is active.
