Heraclius is the first Embassy Officer in Evony, and you have to purchase a large quantity of Gems to acquire him.
As the lord or lady of a keep in Evony: The King’s Return, players have to build a kingdom from scratch. You also have to construct buildings, train troops, vanquish monsters, harvest resources and explore relics.
To help you with these tasks, you can recruit Generals, one of which is Heraclius.
Heraclius’s Story
Some Generals, like Heraclius, are based on real life heroes. In the historic year of 672 AB, Byzantine Emperor Heraclius found himself ensnared in a fatal conflict with the Sasanian Empire at the ruins of Nineveh.
In the face of overwhelming odds, Heraclius’ brilliant military skills turned the tide in a counter-offensive which would echo through the records of history.
Masterfully influencing the battleground, he feigned a retreat to lure his enemies onto the Great Zab plain.
The change of terrain diffused the imminent threat, which allowed his forces to use their expertise in spear and melee combat. Heraclius destroyed the enemy general, concluding the triumphant Byzantine-Sasanian War.
Evony: Heraclius
Heraclius is a powerful General that player can procure in Evony. Heraclius features a variety of specialties, which are indicated below at max level attributes:

| Sage (Applied to Embassy Officer) | Reinforcement Capacity and Reinforcing Troop Attack are both increased by 10 percent. |
| Battle of Nineveh (Applied to Embassy Officer) | Siege Machine Attack is increased by 30 percent while enemy troop health points are decreased by 30 percent |
Heraclius’s special skill, Heraclian Dynasty, increases siege machines’ attacks by 35 and decreases enemy troops’ defenses by 15 percent when he is the Embassy Officer.
When considering Heraclius specialties and special skills, it is clear that players should assign him to the Embassy.
Heraclius is the first Duty General who can be an Embassy Officer. Although he can lead troops to battle, this is not recommended, as he will not provide the troops with any buffs and bonuses.
Gamers can construct the Embassy in their keep to unlock new features. Your Embassy is where you interact with your Alliance members and you can upgrade your Embassy to allow more Alliance interactions.
Keep in mind that you have to upgrade the building to level 27 to appoint a General officer.
If you are yet to upgrade the Embassy to level 27, we recommend that you procure Heraclius, as he is only available for a limited time. Once he is in your General Collection, you can focus on upgrading your Embassy.
How to acquire Heraclius
To add Heraclius to your arsenal, you have to participate in the King’s Party event. Players should note that this event is not in the Event Center, but it is in the Valuable Event menu.
While King’s Party is active, you have to procure Party Cake’s experience by purchasing basic Gems.
You have to increase the Party Cake’s level to earn rich rewards. Players who are interested in recruiting Heraclius have to upgrade the Party Cake to level 10 to collect him.
This essentially means that you have to purchase many Gems to level up the Party Cake.
Gem packages
There are several packages available in Evony, though you should remember that these packages can only be purchased with real money.
Most of the packages do not only contain gems, which means that players will receive a variety of items once the purchase is complete.

Embassy Duty Requirements and Benefits
Heraclius can be assigned as the Embassy Officer when his defense reaches 500 and his attack reaches 450.
Evony players will earn numerous buffs and bonuses if they upgrade his defense and attack to increase his rank:
