As you explore Evony, you can encounter a Kheshig boss monster with a minimum level of 40, which means that only end-game players should attempt to slay it.
Gamers can assume the role of a lady or a lord during medieval times in this exhilarating video game, Evony: The King’s Return.
The objective of the game is to expand your kingdom by completing quests, slaying monsters, harvesting resources and constructing buildings. One of the monsters that you can encounter on the world map is Kheshig.
Boss monsters
Evony boss monsters yield fantastic rewards to all that slay in participating in rallies that defeat them. These rewards can help you upgrade your General’s gear, offer speed-ups as well as General and Monarch experience.
Stronger boss monsters usually spawn in the middle of the map, whereas you can encounter weaker bosses on the outskirts of the map.
There are 15 boss monsters that spawn regularly on the world map, however, Evony recently got a major update which introduced various new boss monsters to the game.
Evony: Kheshig
The game’s latest update introduced new features that gamers can enjoy. One of the boss monsters that players can encounter on the world map is Kheshig, which is an extremely powerful enemy that offers rich rewards once defeated.
The official description reads, “These loyal royal guards have a reputation for their invincibility.” When you are attempting to find a Kheshig, you should not look for a single enemy, as Kheshig appears as 3 knights on faithful mounts.
When you find the 3 knights, you will be able to see the Kheshig’s level and power level. For example, a Kheshig we found on the world map was level 41 and had 5 million power.
It can therefore be said that only endgame players should try to vanquish the Kheshig, as it is an incredibly powerful boss monster.
If you click on Kheshig, you can discover your winning odds. If your odds are extremely low, we recommend that you do not attempt to slay the boss monster as it will injure, or kill, most of your army.
You should only attempt to defeat a Kheshig if your winning odds are extremely high.
On the same menu you can view a list of possible items that you can earn for slaying the Kheshig. Bear in mind that there is no guarantee that you will receive all of the rewards, but you may receive some of them.
Possible rewards
If you successfully defeat a Kheshig, you can receive the following rewards:
Reward | Description |
Large Material Chest | Players can open the chest to get one or 2 Equipment materials. The materials include Purple Crystals, Red Agate, Silver Pearls and Meteorolite, among others. |
General Experience Points | This item grants your General 2000 experience points. |
Lumber Box | If you use this Lumber Box, you will receive 500 000 Lumber. |
Medal | You can use this item to upgrade a General’s Star Level. |
Artwork Fragment Chest IV | Open to receive one or more Artwork Fragments. This includes but is not limited to Pearl Crown, Gem Crown, Diamond Crown, Knife Coin and an Architectural Oil Painting. |
Artwork Fragment Chest V | Players can open the chest to receive one or more Artwork Fragments. You can acquire a Still Life Oil Painting, a Guitar, a Necklace and a Knight’s Sword, among other items. |
Which troops should you send to a fight against Kheshig?
Redditor Mc1280 revealed that he tried fighting a level 44 Kheshig with 11 million power, but it defeated both of his marches with 12 million power.
On the thread, Mbrittb00 claimed that the power level listed for a monster is useless for gauging how many troops it will require to kill with zero losses.
There are many other factors about each monster that Evony keeps hidden away. It is therefore up to you to experiment with how many troops of specific tier levels are required to slay Kheshig.
We recommend that you use the highest tier of troops in the game to defeat him.
If you do not succeed in the fight, you should focus on unlocking higher tier troops and increasing your General’s capabilities before attempting the fight again.
Can you rally a Kheshig?
If you are part of an Alliance in Evony, you do not need to kill the Kheshig alone to earn rewards. You can either join an existing rally or commence an Alliance rally so that other members can join the fight.
All you have to do is join a rally, and you have to send a single troop and an optional General to join the fight. Joining with a single troop minimizes wounded troops for you and for the rally starter.
